This is a simple song about the joy of Spring coming along. Full of pictures of Spring in suburbia and finding cosmic wonder in every day things. 
I was heavily into Woody Guthrie when I wrote this so I took his advice and kept it really simple- it's all G, Em and D chords- and you can get away without the Em. :)

I am an artist, writer and musician from Hastings, UK.  I make slightly wonky acoustic folk-pop, often with unusual guitar tunings.
I record my own songs, musical versions of my own poetry and poems by my favourite poets such as Rilke and Yeats. Lately I've been singing less and doing lots of instrumentals. At the moment I'm inspired a lot by 1980s indie acoustic music especially Felt and The Lilac Time.
