'Is The Red Dust On Steroids' is from my upcoming album 'A Word In Your Ear Please' and is a jazz Fusion track, inspired by the global chaos being created presently by the so called 'Deep State'. However the planet is in a continual state of chaos known by the Daoists as 'Red Dust' The track is quite extreme in nature and begins and ends very calmly, while the centre sections are the complete opposite.

The farewell is now announced,
nature mourns,
the summer is too much aged,
its clock is now ticking.

The becoming is past,
the parting sets in,
it shows itself in sublimity
as autumnal beautiful glow.

A silver-colored night robe
wraps mountain and valley,
the world - it shines in retirement,
the sun shines pale.

The dew pearls from stalk and leaf,
the sky shows its blue
and every drop reflects dully,
and brightens the gray of farewell.

A heavy course is carried out
in silent harmony,
It is life's farewell song
it will never go out.

es zeigt sich in Erhabenheit
als herbstlich schöner Schein.

Ein silberfarbnes Nachtgewand
ummantelt Berg und Tal,
die Welt – sie glänzt im Ruhestand,
die Sonne leuchtet fahl.

Es perlt der Tau von Halm und Blatt,
der Himmel zeigt sein Blau
und jeder Tropfen spiegelt matt,
verschönt des Abschieds Grau.

Vollzogen wird ein schwerer Gang
in stiller Harmonie,
es ist des Lebens Abgesang,
erlöschen wird es nie.

The Last Wing

Butterfly Fantasy - Variation for Violin and Piano was composed by IRMINSUL and performed by him on piano with Victoria Kaye on violin. Originally the IV movement of Irminsul's first String Quartet, it was premiered by LA Symphony's first section violinist Nelya Kovalev in 2021.
