New play

"Bubbles" is the third single from my upcoming album Illuminations. "Bubbles" features my good friend and prodigious vocalist J-Rican  @J-Rican  This song to me takes me back to the years when I was a student at UC Santa Barbara in 2010... over a decade ago now smh lol And I think, in general, this song and overall production was in fact heavily inspired by those years and what I was listening to at that time as well as my immediate environment then - a vibrant and creative college city life, living basically on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, riding my beach cruiser to class breathing in the sea breeze. J-Rican is a phenomenal singer/songwriter/topline-writer and I immediately knew he would be the perfect singer to feature on this track. This song in particular has been in the works since early 2019... maybe 2018? I can't even remember anymore. When I first explained to him the vibe of the song and what I was going for early in the creation of this song, he was immediately onboard and totally inspired by it. And I'm super happy and grateful he was because I wouldn't have it any other way. I hope this song takes you back to a certain place n time; or makes this particular moment, your place n time :)

Radiohead - Blow Out (Eddie Atom RMX)

Did a type of remix/adaptation of one of my favorite Björk songs titled "Who Is It" ... a song on which she collaborated with the amazing Mike Patton. My version I feel is basically standalone but I still took loads of influence from it and wanted to push the atmosphere in the original, a little further in my version. This will be my last track for the month of October 2020. Hope you all enjoy x

Björk - Who Is It (Eddie Atom remix)

This is a collaborative cover/remix of the Nujabes classic "Shiki no Uta" from the widely popular anime and one of my personal faves Samurai Champloo. I initially had the idea I wanted to make an instrumental remix/adaptation of this wonderful song, but ...the vocals and lyrics are everything in this song.. and making an instrumental version of it would not do it an inch justice. So I invited my good friend Japanese singer/rapper from Tokyo KANAME to sing the vocal parts. Absolutely loved what she did with her vocal parts and felt it really fit what I was trying to go for in this cover/remix. Hope you enjoy ^.^
