Closing sets at parties are a favourite slot for me, The White Hotel in particular is always a fun one. I’ve uploaded the recording from the last show back in March, bit of a sequel to the last one a couple years back. 

Started a bit dark then had some fun, some UK classics tucked away inside too!

CHBB is Chrislo Haas (former DAF member) 
and Beate Bartel (founding member of 
Einstürzende Neubauten and of Mania D) 
in 1981 released a series of 4 C-10-tapes, 
each in an edition of 50 pieces only. 

They evolved into Liaisons Dangereuses 
in the same year of 1981 with Krishna Goineau 
who moved to Düsseldorf, where he met
 Chrislo and Beate, who already were 
recording together as CHBB. 
He became the singer of their joint project, 
recording in Conny Plank’s studio.

Charles Manier(founding member of himself)
was introduced to the world in 2002 from his 
1st “12” on Ghostly records and on a compilation 
for Ersatz Audio in the same year that for us 
turned our attention in his direction as the 
most important and significant hero who became 
the future face of inspiration of CHBB/Liaisons signature style of sound.

this new recording in the studio insert series 
on our soundcloud is a musical kaleidoscope 
of everything the artists passionately created 
from their brilliant minds and hearts that’s 
4 1/2 hours long on this fantastic voyage 
from Traxx playing material from his personal 
collection of vinyl and exclusive content as a 
journey for those who are familiar and 
unfamiliar with these heroes and icons 
showing respect and appreciation of 
electronics by showcasing these significant 
and important layers from the timeline 
in the 80s til currently today.

Made this track using nothing but the Prophet X into Logic Pro X. I liked it enough to have it mastered. It was inspired by the score for the Watchmen series on Netflix made by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

This track was inspired by the deep longing for a place that you can no longer go to. For me it was my father's house and the house that I spent most of my time in growing up. My tendency is to really soak in a particular emotion but always leave a little room for hope. It was made entirely with the Prophet X and properly mastered.

Yellow Setting Red

Méchant Métrique is the work of electronic musician Edward Corcoran II. Sometimes atmospheric, sometimes beat driven, the music sets a scene and envelops you in it. Heavily influenced by early synth sounds of the 80s, electronic pop, and IDM, his compositions fluctuate between darkness and beauty, capture the grit of refinery towns and the openness of wild landscape.
