It’s said that DJing is a job that needs no qualifications, but experience always shows. Eddie Richards, ‘Britain’s Godfather of House and Techno’(Mixmag), embodies this like no-one else. While many of his peers have faded into irrelevance or bloated into mainstream mediocrity, Eddie has remained at the forefront of cutting edge underground dance music, Often regarded as ‘the DJs DJ’, Eddie’s insatiable appetite for new music has meant he’s always one step ahead of the game, as his relentless schedule of gigs, remixes and original productions proves. The world of dance music may change with bewildering speed, but one thing remains constant: somewhere, Eddie Richards will be rocking the party.

With over a decade of DJ experience under his belt, Pieps has evolved to always stay a step ahead of the trends and cycles in House and Techno music. His selections combine a fun lively energy with a technical punch and a sprinkling of humor and irreverence.  His freewheeling mixing style shatters all distinctions between genres and tells a story that leads listeners to places they didn’t even know they wanted to go.  In his home town of Los Angeles, Pieps helps organize festivals and private warehouse events as part of LA’s Terrakroma crew. 
Having played many of California and Mexico’s most beautiful outdoor locations and warehouses, he has started to focus on booking his favorite artists from overseas, often for their first performances in the US.  He has shared the stage with international music acts such as Shaded, Sacha Robotti, Stereo Express, and Be Svendsen, as well as California legends like Lee Reynolds, Doc Martin, Marques Wyatt, John Kelley, and Donald Glaude.  Between performances, Pieps pours his soul into his writings for dance publications as well as producing his own tracks to reach people on the other side of the country, the other side of the world, and beyond.

A serious beat junkie yo! Been listening to and sharing/educating some on house since 1987!  I have house music still on cassette that goes back to the Hot Mix 5 crew, WGCI, WBLS etc. I just love our sound, our music, HOUSE...it's my therapy for real. I love the growth and evolving of the electronic soundz. 
I don't get caught up in all the minor stuff.
 I like it all for the most part. Acid, DnB, DubStep, (original)House, Progressive, Techno, Trap/Grime... I need it to be funky aiighht. Headfunk, as long as I can catch a neck cramp, I can get with it!! Looking forward to new friendships and a wealth of hot soundz n smokin' beatz to check and share here.
