Dave Ellesmere began life in Southport, UK as a hardcore punk drummer in the venerable band Discharge, who have seen covers by none other than Metallica. Subsequently, he developed an affection for classic Detroit and Chicago styles of techno, and lists DJ performances at festivals like Awakenings, Welcome to the Future, Tomorrowland and Mysteryland. Dave is a producer that operates the outstanding Belief System record label and has two techno albums on Heiko Laux’s Kanzleramt, as well as releases on Sven Väth’s Cocoon and Radio Slave’s Rekids. In addition, he has also collaborated with 2000 and One on hit club tracks for 100% Pure, to having notable admirers such as Jeff Mills and DJ Rush. This exclusive mix is unsurprisingly a raunchy percussion workout with full-throttle, rolling grooves and interesting hook highlights brimming in energy. Rawflex Music is a Hungarian record label known for its raw and hypnotic style of techno, that has welcomed artists such as Andre Kronert, Thomas Hoffknecht, Ricardo Garduno, and Deepbass for contributions.

Shabaam is a seasoned producer with more than two decades of expertise. Despite having contributed to imprints like Planet Rhythm, Marco Faraone's UNCAGE, Sam Paganini's JAM, and Kaiserdisco's KD RAW, he is most recognised for his work on his own label, Rawflex. Shabaam is also a well-known DJ who performs at several of Hungary's most popular events.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Pavilon" with an uptempo groove. Raw rhythms and hypnotic elements build in unison as the punchy percussion and bubbling bass develops, later met with roaring synth tones and distorted vocals creating an otherworldly sound design.

[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is pleased to present its 87th release: Anchoret (@anchoret) – Winter Cigarette EP.

The first release of this winter, where the cold of Pittsburgh turns into sonic vapor. In winter the city resembles a giant ashtray of concrete and steam. Here the winter cigarette burns not with tobacco, but with noise, rhythm, and deep reflections — as if the city exhales music through steel bridges and snowy winds.

Original works:
::: Winter Cigarette — Anchoret lights the first track, smoldering with a cold dub pulse that slowly spreads across riverbanks, bridges, and old rail lines. Every hit falls like snow; every click sparks like frost in the air.
::: Whatever — an inner detachment, nearly chaotic yet surprisingly focused. Anchoret exhales doubts through a steady, linear beat while the delay gathers fragments of thought into a single spiral.
::: Curious — a midnight rave inside an introvert’s mind: curiosity instead of aggression, bass instead of voice, space instead of answers.
::: Alabaster — like a lantern’s glow reflected in snow: white, yet filled with countless shades hiding the city’s old industrial tales.

Then the interpreters step in, each offering a new way to hold the cold with bare fingers:
::: Francesco Tamburrano (@ft-dubtechno) bends Curious into a hypnotic whirl, shifting the trajectory of its rising smoke.
::: Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr) transforms Alabaster into a Frosted Redub — frost over reverb, each echo denser than winter ice.
::: Daverage J. Normal (@thedaverage) lifts Winter Cigarette onto the rooftops of a concrete world, giving every beat a sharper urban pulse.
::: Radio Badjay (@radiobadjay) rebuilds Whatever into a full radio transmission — as if the track bursts into late-night airwaves from afar.
::: Aritomi (@aritomi) reimagines Curious as a whisper inside a late-night metro train, where footsteps and bass fall in perfect sync.
::: Juan Moreno (@juanmorenomusica), in his Clear & Warm Remix, melts Alabaster from within: the snow under his hands does not dissolve — it begins to glow, softly, deeply, endlessly.

Winter Cigarette EP is like a trail of vapor in the frost: it vanishes, yet remains in memory. A sound that links Pittsburgh and Siberia with an invisible line of cold and rhythm. This release is a never-freezing smoke break for those who hear music in factory pipes, cracking ice, and the old whistle of the techno scene. Winter doesn’t ask if You’re ready. Winter Cigarette is already glowing somewhere between Pittsburgh and Novosibirsk — just breathe in deeper.

Benjamin Mull was seduced by the dark sounds of techno since an early age. Infuenced and surrounded by the nineties techno hero's such as his older brother Joel Mull and Cari Lekebusch there was no doubt he was going to follow the same path, creating his own sound. His sets reminds of a stripped-down dance foor minimalism combined with a hypnotic deep and a heavy groove that directed much of techno’s path throughout the late nineties. With upcoming releases on Krill Music and Parabel, Benjamin is for sure one of Sweden's latest talents to look out for.

For the 167th edition of Global Vibe Radio we present the Live recording of Z.I.P.P.O's set from Goodnight Daylight in Minneapolis, in celebration of 15 Years of Dustin Zahn's Enemy Records. The lineup for the night included Lucy, Truncate, Dustin Zahn, Nastia Reigel and Centrific.

Despite his young age, Z.I.P.P.O's professional career began early: at the age of 15 his name begins to be present throughout various Apulians clubs, while at 17 years-old his first album "Symmetrical Therapy" comes out on Figure followed by great collaborations with the labels Involve Records, Suburban Avenue and Enemy.

To date, Z.I.P.P.O has already conquered some of the most sought-after venues in Europe such as Berghain (the youngest Italian to have played there, ever) and Tresor in 2016 and, more recently, that of Boiler Room at Viva Festival where he introduced a set that differs from his "usual" sounds, accompanying the dancefloor through house, disco and funk sounds.

Together with his solo EPs and collaborations, Fides was also very significant for the creation of the 3KZ project founded with his friend Kaelan, and inspired by a retro-futuristic sound similar to Detroit techno.

The mild character, the passion for music and the constant and a changeless desire to learn have earned Z.I.P.P.O. the respect and admiration of music fans and his peers, making him one of the most promising talents in the techno scene on an international level.
