The Space Between Us is proud to present the latest breakthrough in cell division, a most exciting advancement in the field of molecular biology. Meet - the Cytokinesis EP by Axon Growth Factor @axongrowthfactor. Cell division is a natural occurrence, yet the creation of this release was an undertaking that will leave even the smartest brains in a state of perplexity. Often mistaken for binary fission, the process of the production of these tracks was a sensitive exercise in the fibre of dance… executed with precision.
 
What began as experimentation via hardware-driven analogue jams, elements have been chopped, fine-tuned and formulated specifically for use on the dance floor. Meticulously designed to stimulate your central nervous system, the Cytokinesis EP signals the start of a new cellular generation through an all-new sonic experience.
 
Opener, Batch C is a balearic blend of trance, trippy minimal percussion and breaks. Primal drones and gated leads offset the rigidly sequenced percussion. All elements are pulled into line with a sneaky breakbeat switch-up, echoed by a euphoric pad which carries the listener through a barrage of deep four-to-the-floor tribal grooves.  
 
Cytokinesis teases a hazy yet uplifting prog-electro workout. Dub infused SFX and drones remain constant throughout, whilst playful melodic motifs and sparkling lead sequences sweep effortlessly over a foundation of wobbly yet focussed sub bass and stimulating electro rhythms. 
 
Oxidative stress meticulously combines dizzying percussion, screaming bass-lines and metallic synth riffs into a high-octane, bass-focused electro melter specifically designed for the club. Sluggish breaks carefully weave in and out of focus, momentarily aligning to the mobilising electro rhythms and undulating subs that lay beneath.
 
Mooro/Perth-based Guy Contact / @guycontact facilitates a mutation of the EP opener, Batch C. With a wonky acid bassline and a pulsating rhythm, it’s primed for a hazy late-night warehouse soundsystem. 
 
Naarm/Melbourne-based Escape Artist / @escapeartistaus offers a contrasting reinterpretation of the title track, Cytokinesis. A club-focussed, no frills, euphoric blue-sky trance stomper, the listener is left in a perfect state of bliss and wonderment.

No Way Records celebrates its 5th anniversary with a double 12” anthology of pure physical techno, defined by dark and crepuscular atmospheres that pays homage to 1975’s Dario Argento’s masterpiece “Profondo Rosso”. 
The first vinyl is purely dedicated to the energetic Sardinian scene, opened up by DJ Datch and Andrea Cossu’s sharp yet cosmic sounds. On the B side Ness & Kryss Hypnowave on their way to a black and white, hypnotic journey. Introducing the second vinyl is Craft with his sidereal journey, and Svarog continuing with his distinct drum machine. Sicarius Hahni gives the record a foggy and suspended mood, while Massa wraps thing up with warmer touch!

We are delighted to welcome the artists Jana Sleep, Laima Adelaide, Polygonia and Emika Elena for this first volume accompanied by the visuals of Daisy de Montjoye.

In this EP each track bears an evocative female name. They take us on a sonic and cultural odyssey through time by inviting us to navigate the mind towards distant mystical lands.

Based in St. Petersburg, Nocow is undoubtedly one of Russian electronic music’s most remarkable protagonists having released on Clone, Figure, Fauxpas Musik, Gost Zvuk and Styrax. Recognised for maintaining consistency whilst traversing various sub-genres, Nocow is as comfortable producing intricate IDM and robust techno as he is calm ambient and melancholic electronica.

In ‘Soul Connection’ a spoken word vocal mutters over metallic percussion and ominous stabs whilst a dense pad washes over everything. An undulating synth and ethereal effects make up ‘Disappear’ before moving onto syncopated drums and shadowy atmospherics in ‘Samaya Dolgaya Noch’. Next up, ‘Stop’ is comprised of mesmerising melodies, sturdy kicks and a looped vox until Nocow concludes the package with a short 2-step cut titled ‘Aesthetic Mind’.
