DUGAN is a Denver-based DJ with an eclectic background mixing everything from groovy Tech House and NuDisco to moody Techno and upbeat Electro. He is a regular feature at Beta Nightclub and Tracks Denver and a proud member and contributing DJ of the Hundred and the Bad Asstronauts which host highly produced music events. DUGAN has mixed at major events including Burning Man, Holy Ship, Global Dance's Supernatural Festival, and Denver Pridefest.

Everything released on My Techno Weighs A Ton is top-tier. Earlier this year, the label released the, 2021 Weight Loss compilation featuring a wide variety of talented artists including Casmalia, Confessor, Beth Lydi, and the label's co-owner and A&R, Reginald. Formerly known as NiQW, Reginald is a rising techno star that’s piquing our interest left and right. Not only has he left tastemakers impressed with his compilation single “Perfectly Balanced” with Severi Laine, but his latest releases are the ultimate summer festival jams. 

Reginald recently collaborated with Joedan on their two latest singles “Get Funky” and “Witches Brew,” on My Techno Weighs A Ton. Unique in production, both singles instantly make you want to dance and move your body. The soulful grooviness in “Get Funky” ignites a fire within and keeps you dancing to that hypnotic melody. It’s the perfect jam for any techno set, while “Witches Brew” possesses sensuality and high energy. The seductive vocals and heavy pumping melody are simply delightful to the ears. 

"Joedan has always been one of the artists I've been looking up to my whole career and I nearly s*at myself when I got like 15 demos from him for My Techno Weighs A Ton. From there on we've been in touch regularly and we've always been talking about collaborating," Reginald said about the two tracks. "I asked him to send me projects and he sent me two: "Witches Brew" and "Get Funky". I polished [it] and added my spice to tracks in like two days and it was done. We've been holding on to the tracks for over a year now to wait the right time to put them out and now we feel the time is right when people are flooding the dance floors again and the summer heat is starting build-up."

With all this heat coming from Reginald, it made sense to have him create some magic for you. In fact, the hour-long mix is bound to leave you on cloud nine, because it did for us. But enough of the small talk, it's time to let the music speak for itself!

When you talk about legends in the house scene, Waze is one who should be part of the conversation. Over the past two decades, he dominated the decks at nightclubs and festivals as half of Waze & Odyssey while releasing countless tunes that have ignited dancefloors and caught the ear of tastemakers around the world. In fact, if you've probably heard tracks like "Set It Off," "Down With Tha," and their remix of "Bump n' Grind" booming through speakers, or even caught "Always" which dropped last year.

This year, though, Waze looked to finesse his skills as a solo artist and released his first track for the masses to consume, "Games." Unveiled back in May, this heater is yet another solid jam from the maestro as he offers up stunning piano house grooves and a beat you can't help but move your body to. To take the track to the next level, he looked to London-based singer FABER to provide some vocals that are truly electric. And if you're looking for a fresh twist on the tune, check out the Clapton Club Mix that's absolutely sublime as well.

To celebrate the release of this massive tune and showcase his solo skills as a DJ, Waze threw down on the decks and created a mix that's perfect for the sunny days ahead in the rest of spring and summer. Speaking about the mix itself, he said: “[I] had a lot of fun putting together my first solo DJ set as Waze a few weeks ago. Strictly one for the floor, it features some producers and artists I’m loving at the moment including Shermanology, Kettama, Jaden Thompson, and more. Also getting an airing is the Clapton Club Mix I’ve done of my new single "Games" which YOUSEF dropped at the Circus test event a few weeks back. [It] was amazing to see the video of it going off!"

As for the future, Waze mentioned that he's been busy in the studio working away on "a load of new music and some special edits for my sets.” So make sure to stay tuned as "Games" and this mix are just a taste of what's to come from this legendary artist in 2021.
