Sua carreira despontou no ano de 2008 quando conquistou residências em clubs como Fosfobox, Dama de Ferro e Clandestino. De lá para cá se firmou como DJ residente de diversas festas voltadas para música eletrônica, o que culminou na sua residência na festa RARA - responsável por trazer ao Rio lendas como Derrick Carter e Derrick May em suas duas primeiras edições. Bernardo teve a árdua tarefa de fazer warm-up pra esses ícones, e nas duas oportunidades, saiu da cabine elogiado por todos (inclusive os artistas). No currículo ainda contam apresentações ao lado de Solomun, Booka Shade, Jamie Jones, Magda, Anthony Rother entre muitos outros. É o fundador do selo Molotov21 ao lado do DJ Pedro Mezzonato e metade do projeto Toucan com Olliver Mach. Como produtor musical conquistou posições nas charts do site Beatport e teve o suporte do gigante Maceo Plex em 2 dos seus releases entre outros grandes nomes como Maya Jane Coles, Mandy, Robert Owens e mais. Em 2016 lança o projeto Jack Jack com produções de vanguarda aonde produz não só os beats como todos os vocais das músicas. No ano de 2013 foi um dos DJs mais requisitados no Rio de Janeiro ,o que lhe rendeu o Prêmio Noite Rio como melhor DJ de música eletrônica da cidade, além de uma residência de verão no paradisíaco Tikal Praia Bar, na praia de Algodões, Península de Maraú, Bahia. É também o nome por trás da Festa Base, que completou 7 anos e 26 edições em 2015. Um dos maiores fenômenos recentes do Rio de Janeiro, a festa começou como uma reunião de amigos no Fosfobox e hoje leva um público de 3 mil pessoas por edição em cartões postais da cidade como o Pier Mauá e a Estação Leopoldina. Desde o início, sua carreira vem crescendo de maneira gradual e bem pensada. Está baseada numa pesquisa musical e background que lhe conferem respeito do underground, ao mesmo tempo que sabe se adaptar às pistas que encara, podendo agradar também públicos mais pops.

There's nothing better than a dose of good house music to help beat the winter blues and the sounds from Luke Andy are sure to warm you right up. This rising artist in the scene has already caused quite a stir over the past few years with his releases that have graced labels including Dirtybird, House Of Bangerz, Country Club Disco, and IN / ROTATION. But studio work isn't the only talent that Luke Andy has either, as he's impressed during his performances at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas and Dirtybird Campout, along with a plethora of club shows as well. 

This year saw Luke Andy continue to grow his career to even greater heights with releases such as "Show You" with Dipzy on Space Yacht's Tech My House Vol. 1, "Low Limbo" on Morelia & Friends II, and "BEKKI" with DKING as well. More recently, Luke Andy looked to Walker & Royce's imprint Rules Don't Apply for his latest heater of a tune, "Love Drug." This one is a perfect jam to play when starting your night as the throwback disco-infused tech house beat will get you dancing while the vocal plucks at your heartstrings.

Now, before the end of the year and the release of his upcoming tune "Cheeky Baby" on Desert Hearts Family & Friends Vol. 5 (due out on January 7), Luke Andy swung by to spin up a mix to get everyone grooving. This hour-long adventure into the depths of the house realm is sure to light a fire in your soul as it features a number of tunes from artists like Cour T., Opolopo, Hi-Cut, and more.

SinnerSaints might be a new name in the electronic music scene, but the man behind the music, Jay Patterson, is by no means fresh on the scene. Over the past decade, he's delivered a plethora of trance and progressive tunes under the Bedroom Logic alias that have graced labels such as Elliptical Sun, Alter Ego, and Emergent. Many found a refreshed sense of being in the wake of the pandemic last year, which led Patterson to begin creating music under the moniker such as "Savior" with Jeff Ozmits and "Wilderness" with Alfred Clayton.

Now, with winter upon us, SinnerSaints reflected on the season itself, saying that it's "a time for old habits to expire and new ones to grow. I’ve put some old habits of my own to bed recently. This season seems to have been especially hard on everyone." But much like many others, he's faced those difficulties head-on by diving deeper into music and production, as he continued to say "for as long as I can remember, music, above all else, has guided me in the most trying of times."

With that notion in mind and a new beginning for this Chicago-based artist under the SinnerSaints moniker, he's spun up a mix that's brimming with immersive tunes. In its hour-long runtime, you'll be treated to Anderholm's remix of Lane 8's "No Captain" and Simon Doty's cut of La Roux's "In For The Kill," along with a flurry of surprises and his own tunes as well.

As the dance music scene continues to navigate the roller coaster ride that the past two years have presented, fresh faces in the scene have helped keep minds steady and feet moving to the beat. This has held true in the realms of progressive house and trance with artists like JANPAUL helping lead the way into a new era of the scene. 

After dropping "Bulleit" and "To the Next" in 2020, JANPAUL came into his own with a number of releases that landed on labels like Elliptical Sun, Graydient, and Infrasonic. His tracks like "Heartbeat" and "Light It Up" energized the minds of his growing fanbase while "Hacienda" soothed their souls - and he even delivered his debut EP, Cove / Delta, which saw him team up with fellow rising artist Tydrous. These releases helped define his signature style and made it clear that he's an artist to pay close attention to in 2022.

Since first emerging on the scene, Mary Droppinz has encapsulated what it means to be a dynamic DJ and producer. From her tunes in the house music realm to exploring breakbeats with a touch of acid lines along the way, her unique style has translated to sets that will keep you dancing the entire time. Mary Droppinz's dive into breaks was put on full display in 2021 with the release of tracks like "Crypto Queen" while she explored electro on "Acid Mother" as well.

Now, with the new year in full swing, Mary Droppinz has dropped something fresh for her growing fanbase to feast on with the release of "Hot Pants" on Insomniac Records' sub-label Discovery Project. For this tune, the Nebraska-born artist leans heavily into breakbeats to deliver a sensational vibe that will transport you back in time to the warehouse parties back in the day. Speaking about the track, Mary Droppinz said that its name stems from the breakbeat pattern she used to create it. "‘Hot Pants’ vibe encompasses the spiritual connection that I have to music specifically breaks, acid, and techno," she stated. "With Rowa’s operative vocals, it creates this truly hypnotic experience."

Ich öffne meine Augen und Sonnenstrahlen kitzeln mein Gesicht. Draußen scheint ein wundervoller Tag begonnen zu haben. Doch mir bereitet das helle Licht nur einen stechenden Schmerz in meinem Kopf. Genervt wende ich mich zur Seite und flüchte aus der Sonnenseite des Bettes. Eine unbekannte Schwere macht sich in mir breit und raubt mir jeden Antrieb. Die Ereignisse der letzten Tage fordern ihren Tribut. All das Erlebte habe ich bisher nicht ansatzweise reflektieren können. Mein Kopf hat bisher alles verdrängt und mir den Rücken frei gehgalten damit ich einfach funktionieren kann. Doch jetzt scheine ich mich dieser Aufgabe stellen zu müssen. Erinnerungen kommen unwillkürlich in mein Bewusstsein und wollen eingeordnet werden. Was war Fiktion und was Realität. Wo habe ich mich richtig verhalten und was hätte ich besser machen können. Doch ich schaffe es nicht in diesen Kategorien zu denken. Etwas in mir weigert sich die nahe Vergangenheit zu beurteilen. Statt Klarheit zu schaffen, verunsichert mich der ganze Denkprozess und verursacht nur noch heftigeren Kopfschmerz. Und so fliegen einfach Szenen der vergangenen Nacht unkommentiert durch mein Gedächtnis und verschwinden wieder in der großen Dunkelheit. Eine Dunkelheit die in mir existiert und etwas zu verbergen scheint. 
Ich sammle all meine Kraft und raffe mich auf. Schließlich ist draußen immer noch ein schöner Tag, der auf mich wartet. Also Sonnenbrille auf und raus vor die Tür. Hier nervt die Sonne auch weit weniger und gibt mir im Gegenteil sogar Kraft. Jetzt noch Musik auf die Ohren und eine Runde durch den Stadtwald, um die Akkus aufzuladen

'Into The Jungle' is the first collaboration between Desert Hearts Records boss, Mikey Lion, alongside Sol Selectas Records honcho, Sabo. Both known for regularly droppin' tribalistic drum grooves, Mikey & Sabo bonded over a common love of music and a less common love of skateboarding. They both knew it was only a matter of time before they got in the studio together to make some magic. The title track 'Into The Jungle' is a deep, forward thinking tune that takes the listener on a ride through the mystical depths of the jungle. You can almost feel the energy of the jungle breathing down your neck as you make your way through the song's rises and falls. 'Lonely Boy's Mighty Jungle Mix' takes it up another notch as the same mystic synths from the original track build for nearly 4 minutes before exploding into a massive high energy drop. The result is a 9 minute epic that is sure to rock any peak time dance floor. The next track on the EP titled 'Sally', is a much darker, stomper of a tune you wouldn't normally expect from Mikey & Sabo. Laced with big kicks, heavy synths, and cryptic vocals to boot, 'Sally' was made for peak time in a dark warehouse. Finally, to round off the EP, 'Sally' gets remixed by badass Joyce Muniz who brings a cranking tech house vibe to the track. The bassline chugs along to constantly changing high hats until the acid synth at the end brings the whole thing home. In typical Desert Hearts fashion, this entire EP was made to crush dance floors.
