Couldn't agree more - this set on the playa was trance state inducing!

Wow time flies… I played my very first dj set in front of a crowd exactly 25 years ago. I used to practice in the basement of a youth club every week because I couldn’t afford my own turntables. When playing my first gigs I was shaking and was so intimidated I could barely speak. Honestly, it’s still the same even if I’m able to hide it now. If I wouldn’t feel this nervousness and excitement any longer I would let it go and quit. 
Since we are still not able to celebrate properly I prepared a podcast for you with my current favorite slow tracks. 
I think it’s perfect for the upcoming summer vibes, for listening at home and dreaming about festivals 🐈💫🌈❤️🦄

Hybrid setups are their world! From dreamy afterhour sounds to driving down + mid-tempo -- Kahl & Kæmena are always trying out new sounds. The two musicians from Berlin combine piano and synth sounds with electronic music and thus create space for improvisation.

On a beautiful late summer saturday, the oracle enacted an undress code to join this intimate gathering. The tea fairies flyed around serving hot tea so the ducks could feel warm and comfortable in their skin to celebrate life as they first knew it. Each duck had a unique shape and was welcomed exactly as they are. No, this was no duck orgy. It was a moment of vulnerability and freedom in which the ducks, stripped of their vestments, found in dancing the most authentic expression of their beings. And so they departed on an ascending journey into the wilderness of their souls!

My first time in Sisyphos back in 2016 has literally changed my life for good. Back then, I would never have thought I would become a DJ... But listening to some sets played in this magical place has ignited in me the spark to want to play music myself. Playing for the first time there during the 1st edition of The Naked Tea Party (@dani-b-4)at Sisyphos was a very unexpected, unique and precious way to come full spiral with this place which means so much to me in my journey. Many heartfelt thanks to Danielle for the invitation, for holding the space so safely and, of course, for following your heart's impulse to create such an AMAZING party concept! And, of course, many thanks to @sisyphos-berlin for opening your doors for me and to all the naked ducks who screamed and danced so wildly to my set <3

A Sunset in Sisyphos | The Naked Tea Party 04.09.2021

I'm happy to share with you the recording of my night with the MBR crew in Sao Paulo, Brazil. 
Already way before that party, my expectations were quite high.. with many friends telling me that these guys throw some of the best parties on the planet. On top of that, I got to play directly after Acid Pauli, from 4-6 into the Sunrise. 
Hard to find words for what happened after that.. like so often, the magic that is created in those moments is as beautiful as it is ephemeral. The two hours flew by like they were minutes and I have to say that it was one of the most memorable gigs I’ve ever played. 
Im therefore super happy to share this recording with you.. I hope you enjoy.

I can't find the words to describe the feeling I had while playing this set on the playa of AfrikaBurn 2022. I played more than 20 hours that week on our mutant vehicle The Flying Dutchman, but this set between 2 and 5 a.m. on Friday night/Saturday morning was really something special. Every piece of the puzzle just fell exactly in its right place, if you were there you know what I mean. Thanks so much if you were part of it, and thanks again if you're joining the fun now.

Deep grooves, bass and percussion blended in a tribal mix, that’s what gets Ed Noodle going. From downtempo sets at sunset or sunrise, to dark organic blends taking you on a trip into the night: in any case the goal will be to keep you dancing with prehistoric power.

Ed is at his best when he takes the time to tell a story, relying on the right tracks and buildup for that exact place and moment in time. A craft he honed at events like AfrikaBurn and Midburn, which fit his sound and energetic presentation like a glove. To top this all off, the experience of playing on the playa catapulted him to a next level. With more and more gigs coming his way, and releasing his first own productions on different labels.
