We like to be present in the musical process and draw inspiration from our environment and the natural world. The atmosphere of the psychedelic era, the drift, the roots - are always part of the creative process. We like to pay attention to details and observe the slight movements in the biodiversity around us, with the intention of bringing it into the music, so it could resonate in our creative conversation as a duo and flourish in color and contrast.

MAUGLI’s debut hits off with two fresh tracks for our free download series.
The first song „Away“ starts dark with choppy guitar licks, chants and arpeggios, repeating, twirling and pulling you in, drawing you deep into its rhythmic african  world.

A warm percussive piece, underlined by deep bass and shaky synths, warping and weaving in and out.
Schweben’s „Away“,a sample of Merlui Miranda’s „Pamé Daworo“, Ogoya Nengo and The Dodo Women’s Group’s „Kadana“ have been worked into the track.


„I bought a Shotgun“ the infamous Screamin’ Jay Hawkins used by 
sample trio „Den Sorte Skole“, returns to stage.
Based on the pounding guitar pattern of Damon’s Song „Did You Ever“
Maugli kickstarts his second track with a bass and a beat that gets your teeth churning and shakes you to the bone.
With delightful twists and turns the track becomes a catchy 
headbanger that is hard to resist.

Our latest compilation features some of our old and new friends which joined the mission to trespass geographical and cultural borders, and to create a multifaceted community united in the common love for music. Our ‘Sonorities’ travel slow, but they travel far. Organic and joyful sounds reminding of Latin America and of their native people are flanked on the one side by instruments and motives coming from the East, on the other side there are urban trippy rhythms. Ecstatic dancing beats travel alongside ethereal and mesmerizing melodies. Such diversity is not only meant to present the variety of sounds which these great artists can exhibit, but also to represent the diversities among human beings which are here united in one heterogeneous and harmonious complex, as it’s the world we envision - a whole symbiotical organism...

She recently released her new album entitled Ivory Castanets available to the public shortly via Cinematic Music Group. On listening, one can easily recognize the classic folk style sounds with a rather soft rhythm, but sometimes tinged with a touch of rock. His album is perfect for the summer, perfect to listen to on a sunny afternoon on a terrace or for warm evenings spent outside by the fire. The singer's voice is naturally soft, but quite dynamic in some songs where she offers a fuller range of notes as in the song Running Water where the singer projects vibrant and warm vocals. His album gives a new colour to the soul that we recognize in the choice of numerous and diversified instruments. The themes addressed are at times bonasses and at other times shouting, which gives a very personal character to the artist. She sings for herself, for the pleasure of the music and the sensations it gives her, and you can hear it in her lyrics and voice intonations. My &quot;chouchou"; song from the album is undoubtedly Mama Said with its rocking melody, but also catchy and very bohemian. Cat Clyde will appeal to folk lovers above all, but also to all those who love an album where softness and rhythm are perfectly combined.

His studies in music compositions, orchestration and opera provide him with a vast understanding of harmonies, dynamics, and musical textures. Eduardo uses a subtle ethnomusicologist’s approach to music. His record collection reads like a music history book. In fact, his eclecticism is quite enticing. Sounds of Jazz, Avant-Garde, Middle Eastern, South American, Afro-Cuban folk, Soul, Funk, and Electronic Minimalism, can be heard in his compositions, his singing, his dj sets, and his playing of instruments, whether in their pure from or intertwined with down, mid and up-tempo electronic treatments. Ultimately, simplicity is what Eduardo strives for. An effort is always made to have fresh, organic sound while inevitably providing touches of technological advances shaping music today, never overwhelming and always sophisticated and tasteful.

Eduardo's mission is to always become a storyteller from beginning to end. Every record he plays has a very important intention. The music in his selections does not just fill time, it weaves in and out with dynamic and texture. The music and his improvisational live shows are brush strokes on a canvas that once he's reached the end, will look like a world of realism and fantasy all in one. He's a master at layering the musical with the technical and the surreal with the real.

Eduardo always leaves an indelible mark with his style and impeccable understanding of his environment.
