3 Years (Thoughtful/Calm)

Im Memoriam

My name is Martin-Eero Kõressaar and I am an upright bass player from Estonia. I study in the Estonian Academy of Music.
I have done a similar project before, (search for: "Experiment 30,5 days")
This time the rules are pretty much the same:

"With one rule - base material for these must be acoustic recordings (pickups allowed). Manipulating them via audio software is allowed. But generating a whole new sound via DAW's isn't allowed in my little project." (Exp30,5)

But this time there is much less time and also travelling meanwhile so it's going to be quite the ride.

Why am I doing this?
Because it keeps me alive inside.

Long story short - I will make an audial composition every day until the big clock hits six.
Rules are simple - all acoustic, pickups allowed.

Day 9:
I wrote this tune exactly a year ago to a friend who is now part of space: the final frontier. Exploring strange new worlds and seeking out new life and new civilisations. Going where none of us has gone before.
Happy travels.

But it was damn slow, the old recording, so I made it again. 
Recorded with his guitar actually. A duo piece. That's all.

So there You are!
Inside Ambulance is almost ready. A matter of hours actually.
All design and stuff is done, still going through the list and making last minute changes to the songs before they hit the last master and burn.
I said it would be out on 23'rd but Christmas just kicked in and I took the time off.
And now I am back.

I wanted to share that one with You since it is one of the songs from Experiment 30,5 days. But I made a new version of that song for the album INSIDE AMBULANCE which consists of  works from either EXP 30,5 and UTBCH6!

Blizzards

"Expedition" tells quite a few tales. 
First one started years ago on a beach in Meremõisa, Estonia.
It wasn't until Ash Benness (Rigidigital) made this painting (on the artwork) based on that song, that I remembered a lot of why this song is as it is. 
It is a simple memory of someone who understood and a farewell to those who's job is done. It's a song of a beach. A simple beach with a glorious mind.

"See you in 3 days" is a song I wrote last spring.
Here is a live recording of it from a concert in Maaspodium, Rotterdam. June 11th 2018
