Gafas & Bigote è il nome della collaborazione musicale che vede protagonisti due ragazzi di Gaeta, cittadina della provincia di Latina: Matteo Lieto e Luca Evangelista.

Quest'idea, nata agli sgoccioli del 2009, si è evoluta nutrendosi delle influenze e dei gusti musicali che li accomunano, uniti alla passione per il djing e la club culture.

Nonostante nei loro set sia evidente una forte matrice house/elettronica, il loro sound abbraccia varie correnti, tant'è che risulta difficile etichettarlo in maniera netta e precisa: merito degli ascolti più disparati, da Miles Davis a Moodymann e Theo Parrish, passando per i Kraftwerk, Pino Daniele e i Pink Floyd.

Oltre alle collaborazioni con Claudio Coccoluto, Rehab, Aperipulp e Mermaid's, Gafas & Bigote sono due delle menti di Esperimenti Festival [http://facebook.com/esperimentifestival] e stanno lavorando intensamente per dare alla luce il loro primo EP.

#EGGBOX is a project born in January 2017 out of the passion of 4 friends in a garage set up as rehearsal studio, taking its name from the boxes of eggs that used to cover the walls.
The project is developed through a series of video / audio episodes featuring DJ sets and live performances.
Each episode has a different guest, each one with his/her own characteristics and skills, encompassing various styles, from ambient live set up to techno records, ranging between an infinity of nuances and genres, without setting limits to the exploration of sound, nor forgetting the house background of its founders.
The goal is to share music with those who lend their ears while creating an opportunity to raise awareness on sounds that are sometimes too hidden...
 
#EGGBOX è un contenitore musicale, ideato nel Gennaio 2017 dalla passione di 4 amici all'interno di un garage allestito a sala prove, e prende il nome dalle scatole di uova che ne rivestivano le pareti. 
Il progetto si articola in una serie di episodi video/audio con protagonisti dj set e performance live.
Ogni puntata ha un ospite diverso, ognuno con le sue caratteristiche, partendo dalla ambient suonata live  arrivando alla techno girata sui vinili, passando tra un'infinità di sfumature e generi, senza porre limiti nell'esplorazione di nuovi suoni, anche se il cuore house dei suoi ideatori non manca mai. 
L'obiettivo è di condividere musica con chi presta l'orecchio per ascoltare, oltre ad essere un'opportunità per far conoscere tante sonorità a volte troppo nascoste..  Tale contenitore si sviluppa tramite una serie di episodi video/audio con protagonisti dj set e performance live.

Twinsound's music can be defined as an explosive mixture of house beats, deep and hot soulful sound that progressively turns into electronic and involving vibes.

TWINSOUND (biography)

L'eclettica coppia di djs gemelli (ALESSANDRO & MASSIMILIANO LEO), nasce anagraficamente nel 1979 e artisticamente nei primi anni '90, probabilmente nel decennio più florido di tutto il panorama "house" capitolino.

Ad accomunare i due fratelli, una smodata passione per la musica e in particolar modo per le atmosfere rarefatte e i il caldo "groove" dell'house d'oltreoceano. Cominciano perciò a muovere i primi passi al ritmo di sonorità "deep" , "soulful" e "funky" senza mai tralasciare quelle che sono di volta in volta le mode e le influenze del momento ( dalla minimal house all'electrofunk, passando per la tribal ) senza però perdere mai di vista le proprie origini e continuando ad affondare le proprie radici nel fertile terreno dell'house music "old school".
La caratteristica fondamentale che contraddistingue i TWINSOUND è suonare contemporaneamente,passando con agilità dai piatti al campionatore, senza mai abbandonare l'utilizzo del supporto vinilico: difatti il duo si professa cultore del vinile al 100%, materiale da molti ritenuto obsoleto a causa dell'avvento del digitale, ma capace di donare un sound decisamente inconfondibile e caldo... Si esibiscono nei migliori locali ed eventi romani, spesso affiancando guests internazionali di tutto rispetto.

La musica dei Twinsound può essere definita come una miscela esplosiva di house beats, che strizza l'occhio alla deep e a calde sonorità soulful fino ad arrivare progressivamente ad un sound decisamente più elettronico e coinvolgente.

Trend Records has a basic true concept because the founders, Alessio and Matteo Collina, want to transmit something to the people who listen.
It doesn’t matter which genre the music exactly is, the important is that it can leave something in the hearts of the people.

The Italian born, Berlin based Gianfranco Barnaba is the mind behind Ruff Stuff.  He have rocked up on a host on different labels, including !K7, Shall Not Fade, Madhouse Records, Suol, Sloth Boogie and STEP Recordings. 
However, it's the work on his own label, the aptly names Ruff Stuff Music Ltd, for which he’s arguably best renowned.

Grew up during the ‘90’s electronic wave, firstly as clubber and then as DJ and vinyl enthusiast, in the mid-2000s he decided to start produce electronic music. The first steps were moved on the Idm and Ambient territories, driven by his love for ethereal melodies and intricate broken beats.

The shift to House happened after re-discovering different classic records hidden in his collection. 
From here the idea to create a music project focused on representing the vibes of the old-school House, Techno and Garage with a propensity to find the newest, freshest sounds. 

Rough samples, hypnotic melodies, groovy beats and vocals are the main ingredients that marks the Ruff Stuff’s sound.

Alessio starts his musical career at the age of 13, approaching the world of djing through parties organized by friends. House music lover and vinyl addicted; His musical route is dynamic and the continuous desire to offer something original has brought him to be very appreciated during these years. His label Trend Records released a lot of young talents alongside masters like Terry Farley,Paul Johnson, Ricky Montanari, Paul Cut and many more. The music has been played by artists like Osunlade, Vincent Floyd, Alexander Robotnick, Ben Sims and Fred P to name a few. Alessio has performed in great clubs around Italy and not only: Berlin, Zurich, Barcelona, Ibiza, London, Tunis and more to come. His tracks have been played and appreciated by artists like Jimpster, Kerri Chandler, Dj Sneak, Doc Martin, Honey Dijon, Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Slam and many more. in 2017, Alessio started to make music even with a new alias: Hill. He presses his own music, that's why Hill is also a label where he releases only his stuff, exclusively on wax. Hill's music has been played by Secretsundaze, Move D, Apollonia, just to name a few. Alessio use this alias to bring on stage his production, performing them with a full analog live set. His versatility makes Alessio a unique artist, constantly in search, always ready to surprise.
