ATYYA Presents: Into The Void [mix]

Thirteenth track on the 2017 album The Disorderly World Public Healer.

The album covers terrain from ambient to downtempo with hints of trap, dubstep, and bagpipes for good measure. Continuing Purple Moves' signature mixtures of structure and decay, this new work considers questions of chaos and healing in a world that is less and less able to sustain a diversity of life. As with previous Eggplant Purple Moves releases, The Disorderly World Public Healer is available for free download.

Eggplant Purple Moves is electricity beyond culture, raw wonder facing the unknown.

A wild and mangy mash-up of styles align, lighting on genres from across this electronic world, always bouncing further, backed by endless weird samples. 

Every mix is a colossal trick, unraveling between humour and oh-so-dead-seriousness. The only constant is that the moves are always decidedly purple.

EPM would love to push you into a transcendent spine tingle, but would be almost as pleased to offer a damn catchy good time. Almost. 

He never thought he could join in with the others offering transportational audio to mangle reality. But then one day in 2012 curiosity finally won out. 

EPM began twiddling synth knobs and passing countless hours scouring the internet, soaking in musical wisdom with childlike excitement. The sound started to take shape - and continues to - beckoning to listeners with fresh abandon...
