At first, I love the rhythm of the drums in the beginning. :-) Guitar is also great and the vocals too! ⭐🔥☺️

The song craft & sound design is insane. This has an ambience that is so on it's own, yet @ the same time so appealing. Wickedly beautiful.

this is such a cool structure and sound. I'm loving the overall tones that this portrays. very interesting vocals as well.

Paco and I had some fun recently on a little collab that produced “Hot Seville Night” (https://soundcloud.com/user-264930040/hot-seville-night), a homage to Paco's beloved home city.  So I was absolutely delighted when he pinged me a message saying he'd just completed a composition he had started several years ago, a soft melody about memories and deciphering life's routines and had felt moved to name it “My Days in Eydon” - Eydon (pronounced “eden”) being the village in England where I live.  He wondered if I might be interested in adding some words to it.  

I have now returned the hand that I bit off.

If Seville is about a beautiful, classic, historic cityscape of warmth, families, blossom scents, superb cuisine, tapas bars, flamenco, great famous parks and the intense joy of life, Eydon is about the past; a tiny, heavily distilled microcosm of English history perched on a hill in idyllic rolling countryside.  It's slap bang in the middle of England, a village built mainly of local golden brown ironstone cottages - no shops, no school, no post office, no bus service, one pub, one church (we like a moral balance...). We have the old parsonage, the great manor house and, of course, a cricket pitch.  We ring the (6) church bells, we Morris Dance and on boxing day we re-enact ancient "mummers" plays depicting the crusades.  Some families have been here for many, many generations.  In fact there have been people here continuously since the bronze age, there are iron age settlements, medieval earthworks, the Romans marched through here, the church dates from Norman times, the English Civil War raged here, the high street has burnt down twice (!!),  the mad Victorians criss crossed the area with railways and canals, Winston Churchill had his horse shod in BlackSmith's Lane just before WW1, our village green still has the old wooden “stocks” whose last occupant was a soldier freshly returned from the Napoleonic wars who rather disturbed the peace after a couple of beers too many...the place oozes the past and everywhere it is whispering, ever so gently, to the present.
