On this debut mixtape for our Behind LOKD Doors series listeners are invited to delve into an hour of audio selections that emphasises spacial and intricate narrations more commonly experienced in ambient music as well as energy dense, club-oriented tracks.

Field samples of the natural landscape, echoes of visceral rythms and rumbles of the club hypnautic inspire and build the basis of the sound of porifera. The changes of headspace from bright daydreams to rhythms of circular motion, from fractured bouncing percussion to guttural snippets of instrumentals are intended to blend into a grainy and rich composition. Within this conjecture is a space where porifera feels most at home.
