CASOMAT006 is the ‘White Spring’ EP - two originals by Swiss producer Normen Hood and remixes by Deckert and Lerm & Hamoon. Based in Zürich, Normen Hood cites the mountains and rivers around his home as the inspiration for his music. And considering the consistent stream of quality output he produces, the inspiration is quite clearly (both literally and figuratively) flowing.

The two originals on the EP, ‘White Spring’ and ‘Luna’, both show Normen’s aptitude for melodies, with both being built around their own respective centrepiece synth-lines. White Spring’s is a looping arpeggio, almost disorientating at points, with the main motif being reflected and flipped and delayed and played back from all directions. Luna starts slow and gradually builds, teasing at what’s to come for a good 4 minutes before finally opening up into a huge pad, lush & expansive and completely enveloping the listener.

On remix duties for ‘White Spring’ is German producer Deckert, coming fresh off the back of a string of releases on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Connected and URSL. Sometimes alone, sometimes with production partner Aaaron and sometimes as part of electronic live act DEORBITING, Deckert clearly draws inspiration from numerous genres and styles and uses it to his advantage, creating diverse and innovative music.

Rounding out the EP is LERM & Hamoon’s interpretation of ‘Luna’. Budapest-based LERM and Tehran-based Hamoon are no strangers to each other, having already spent last summer collaborating and working on original music together - the results of which are starting to appear on labels like Future Frequencies. Hamoon says that his primary goal is to use synths to introduce unexplored experimental places to the realm of contemporary electronic music, an attitude which he and LERM clearly have in common. Their output can be described as interesting & thought-provoking music for connaisseurs, unafraid to break norms and venture into uncharted territories.

For this installment we bring two new talented DJs and producers, Kryoman and Luxe Agoris, to your attention, with a futuristic melodic techno vibe, very pleasant to the ears.
They have landed to our imprint with a sublime composition called "I Believe" full of ethereal-synth perspective which is melting with the melodic techno-based sounds.

"I Believe” smoothly comes in and builds up across the whole duration, getting things there faster if not rougher. A true audio reflection about desires which is a necessary condition for evolution. It's the contrast between light and shadow that allows us to see. The track explores melodic movements and dark tonalities, in a perfect combination of synth and bass, creating a melodic percussion that dictates the rhythm. 
It is a perfect contrast between harmony and chaos, presenting characteristics never seen in the artists’ previous productions. It's a powerful weapon, which fits perfectly in the most energetic moment of the dance floor!
