Miguel Masanet, canario de nacimiento, lleva
desde 2018 pinchando en clubes reconocidos de gran canaria, como el Fortuny en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, donde se convirtió en un DJ recurrente y habitual de esa sala.
Fue entonces cuando decidió venir a Madrid y descubrir su escena Techno. Desde entonces, ha tocado en varias salas de Madrid y más allá, llevando su sonido a nuevos públicos.
A lo largo de su trayectoria, ha explorado y fusionado una amplia gama de géneros, desde el house y tech house, pasando por el melodic techno, minimal y techno, hasta llegar a los estilos más duros como el industrial y hard industrial. Esta diversidad de estilos le ha permitido evolucionar y adaptarse a las diferentes escenas y públicos, manteniendo siempre su esencia y pasión por la música electrónica. Gracias a descubrir estos géneros más duros y oscuros, ha encontrado una nueva motivación y dirección para su carrera  como DJ. Se enfoca en un techno más contundente y atmosférico, explorando sonidos más oscuros y profundos, que reflejan su evolución y las nuevas influencias que ha ido incorporando a lo largo del tiempo.

Jesús Bellota was born in Spain. He studied Law and an MBA in Birminghan University, United Kingdon. He also did studies at Professional Pioneer DJ  player at INTED Elecronic Music School, Madrid. He began his profesional career as residente DJ in Club Epoka, Madrid in 2.016.  His sets create a unique ambiance with a powerful and well-rounded sound; invoking  house, tech house, techno ... references without forgetting other vanguard tones.

Sound Designer, Sound Engineer, and Eclectic Electronic Music DJ/Producer from Italy. 

My main focus as an artist is what I like to call 'Cinematic Bass Music,' a mix of influences from deep, dark cinematic soundtracks and heavy underground bass music, with special attention on sound design and sonic explorations.

HydraTek is the name that summarizes my artistic vision:
'Hydra' recalls the mythology and is epitomized by an aggressive, distinctive sound that’s become my signature in both sound design projects and electronic music productions;
’Tek’ is about my continuous research for high-tech and futuristic sonic explorations, trying to push
electronic music forward to explore new frontiers.

The different 'heads' of the hydra are a metaphor for my eclecticism. The two polarities in the name can sometimes be found in a harsh contrast between delicate, emotive melodies and twisted, abrasive basslines.

With a strong influence and passion for modern film soundtracks, I strive to provide a concept and storytelling inside my music, even inside club-oriented tracks.

My current production style involves a combination of Dark Techno with a distinct cinematic influence, in which I like to insert melodic, emotional, deep, and a hint of brighter elements.
