This  song is dedicated to my Husband, Jay. We spend so much time performing other peoples love songs, that i thought it was about time i wrote one for him. Written and recorded at home this afternoon and inspired by all the great 70's love songs. Hopefully i will get to record this one day with live guitar and strings.

Prelude No.1 from 'Four Hommages' for solo piano. A little tribute to Olivier Messiaen, using the octatonic scale and lots of sustaining pedal. First written in Cape Town in 2000, and revised again for a performance at St Sepulchre-without Newgate in London in 2004.
