Offering Recordings‘s upcoming ‘Gratitude (The Remixes)‘ is the first single release taken from  Marie Joly‘s eponymous album. ‘Gratitude‘ sees three exceptional musicians - Marie Joly and South African House icon Black Coffee and Rebbecca Murray  - working together and combine their musicianship to provide us with a beautifully piece of art.

The MYNY remix for ‘Gratitude‘ - already gaining heavy support from Rampa (Keinemusik) in his latest mix [https://soundcloud.com/keinemusik/keinemusik-radioshow-by-rampa-02122016] – has everything in store a tune needs to offer: a percusssive and rhythmical keytone subbed with vocal snippets before a piano smoothly comes in that is supported by slightly more ruff sounding synth-sounds and surrounded by Rebecca Murray‘s tender vocals. Again SOLIDE artist MYNY manages to leave an impression and a track that we surely will hear at BPM-Festival this year.

Touch Of Class is proud to deliver its first digital single of 2017, a springtime gem entitled, “On the Shelf” featuring vocals by the talented, Amelia — recorded and produced by Dan Berkson and James What. The production partners are individually known for making their marks in the underground electronic scene, both with releases on various notable labels including Crosstown Rebels and Poker Flat, while also running their own imprint, Modelmaker Records.

The five track EP consists of the duo’s original single which is laid down with a driving, tantalizing bass line met with the melodic lyrics of North Carolina based vocalist, Amelia. The jazzy rhodes and vocal edits interlace delicately with swung out percussive drum patterns creating a timeless garage-house, summer tune sure to get any dancefloor moving.

“On the Shelf” is accompanied by four eclectic remixes, each satisfying a disparate moment and sound while respectfully preserving the essence of the original record. Brooklyn’s underground house hero, Jovonn, contributes with a stripped down dub version arranged with heavy drums and a simplistic take on the vocal arrangement — an essential tune for any selector. Chicago legend, Roy Davis Jr., follows up with a peak time interpretation, a perfect jam for the club and festival vibes.

The third remix comes from Grammy winning producer and sound engineer, Dave Robertson, also known as Cameo Culture, who after hearing the tune was instantly reminded of an old Matthew Herbert record, inspiring his use of “real” and organic drum sounds. Cameo’s remix evokes this natural aesthetic throughout, artfully recrafting the original arrangement and composition. The final rendition of the release comes from label founders, Michael Tello and Ray Zuniga aka. Signal Flow. The dynamic duo’s lively rendition presents a melodious, yet groovy journey influenced by their diverse musical palettes and Latin heritage.

The imprint kicks off its fourth year as the new and enriched, Touch Of Class Music, with a full and dynamic release schedule to be distributed worldwide on digital format only. Recognized for its selective and sophisticated sound, the label’s catalogue of timeless anthems promises to be appreciated by all music enthusiasts. Stay tuned and be sure to follow Touch Of Class and it’s ever growing roster of international artists and world class releases in the ensuing year.

Daniel Bortz - Travel w/ Acid Pauli

In 2001 Markus Lang (aka Plastique) founded the then Berlin based label Eintakt.
As it was first thought as a platform for his collaborations (Project name : Einklang freier Frequenzen) with Telly Quin it quickly became a melting pot for many-faceted influences of good old and refreshing new friends.

The main philosophy behind Eintakt is to keep alive what is mostly misunderstood as the electronic underground – to speak clearly: it's not about building up an elitist circle of people nobody else can get in, it's more about doing your own thing, sometimes far off what may be cool at the moment, but therefor even more enthusiastic, open-minded & honest without being too serious (it's dance music, it should be fun as well shouldn't it?)

Next to Eintakt Markus runs Hot Content (for the more personal stuff of “Einklang freier Frequenzen), Rare (for the more funky stuff) and Townhousemusic (for deep oldshool house music), Rauhphaser (for digital markets) as some kind of sublabels.

Thanks to all friends and musicians for the steady input and keeping the love to the music alive.
