I made it difficult for myself and selected 6 unrelated eurorack improvs. And to make it even harder, the dice showed 4-3-4-2-4-2, which meant I had to use all of them a lot. I think the result is a hot mess, but at least it resembles music. And that is good enough for me.

This track was inspired by the Disquiet Junto Project 0604 (details see below): 
My track https://soundcloud.com/rabmusiclab/parsimony was remixed by implementing gates on the different instruments. For each instrument a line was drawn on the cover-photo, and the opening and closing of the gates was determined by the colours of the clouds along the line. 

Since the original track was called parsimony (as a result of Ockham's razor), the title of this track was quickly determined.

REBERHEAD - A COYOTE AND AN ELK [words By Reberhead And Brian Burchette]

This track started from a newspaper article (published in November 1973 in my home country). I processed it through a text-to-speech software and use it as a base to improvise melodies and rhythms. I then extracted elements that I liked and arranged them into the final piece.

The goal was to make the voice less audible as the track progresses. To achieve this, I used different set of effects on each sections of the track.

My friend came over last Sunday, October 5, and started jamming this chord progression. We liked it so we recorded it, hence the very clover song title.  Bob is on the acoustic guitar and I am on the electric guitar.  This is a one-take jam that we thought we would post.
