The "Progressive Sevdah" appeared in early 2006. year by the fans and audiophiles who will find in this text and that they added the epithet Progressive Sevdah.
First of all is gathering the true lovers of electronic music, discriminating taste and passion for the urban sound. The word sevdah derived from the Arabic word "Sawda" which means black bile, while in Turkish means a state of melancholy, and in Bosnia got the meaning of love, longing and caressing. From the musical point of view it's full of melodies and harmonies that put a man in a melancholy state. The repertoire will always be well-chosen selection of bar where we build the deep-house, tech-house, progressive house and techno sound full of melody and harmony as a modern way of looking at the meaning sevdah in modern times. We will make every week to share  120 minutes of live mix show.

ELARCOS es una banda relativamente nueva de Metal/Progresivo/Fusión de Montevideo, Uruguay, formada a comienzos del 2009. Luego de significantes cambios de formación, la banda se consolida con Alejandro Bravo en la voz principal y el Saxofón Alto, Gustavo Ferrero en la Guitarra y comiendo maní, Diego Caetano en la batería, Mario Rodríguez en el teclado y Man Key en el bajo.

El principal cometido es elaborar una fusión entre metal progresivo, jazz y pop. La ambición máxima de Elarcos es crear un nuevo estilo propio.

Las principales influencias se remiten desde el rock progresivo y sinfónico de los años 70 (ELP, Yes, UK, Jethro Tull) hasta las modernas bandas progresivas como Dream Theater, Symphony X, Nevermore, Muse, Animals as Leaders, Ayreon y Haken, sin olvidar las constantes influencias del jazz y fusión como Return to Forever, John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Vital Information, Tribal Tech, Bela Fleck, Michel Camilo etc.

Elarcos is a relatively new progressive/metal/fusion band from Montevideo, Uruguay, formed at the beginning of 2009. After several changes of formation, the band is now consolidated by Alejandro Bravo on vocals and alto saxophone, Gustavo Ferrero on guitars, Diego Caetano on drums, Man Key on bass and Mario Rodríguez on keyboards.
The main objective is to make a fusion between progressive metal, jazz and pop. The final (and not unambitious) target could be to create a new personal style.

The main music influences goes back from the 70’s progressive and symphonic rock (ELP, Yes, UK, Jethro Tull) to the modern metal and progressive bands like Dream Theater, Symphony X, Nevermore, Muse, Ayreon or Haken, without forgetting jazz and fusion constant influences like Return to Forever, John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Vital Information, Tribal Tech, Bela Fleck, etc.
