Laura Hairdressa is a rising star from Vilnius, not only a professional hairdresser but also a producer and singer with a low, deep voice that easily reminds listeners of early Madonna. Her passion for music culminated in the release of 4 debut songs, where pop structures and melodies blend seamlessly with the authentic sound of 90’s club music genres like house, breakbeat, and UK groove.

However, despite the easy-to-dance-to club music base, don't be fooled - Hairdressa's lyrics delve much deeper. Her songs touch on themes such as painful breakups, the blinding euphoria of substance use, fear of intimacy, and a zest for life. The result is a collection of beautiful and sophisticated songs that can find a place both on the radio and the dance floor.

Virmantas Celkys has been DJing as Illestpeace on the cutting-edge shores of Lithuania's infamous nightlife scene for over a decade. As the host on the still super fresh Radio Vilnius, Illestpeace shares his taste samples and treasure finds with the listeners through the "Maneuvering Waywards" show.

Vilnius-based DJ has also been contributing to whypeopledance's Serial Experiments events back in the day when the platform held a residency at Kablys club. As good as he is in the soul-soothing home listening arena, the prime-time dance floor sees him as charged.

Close your eyes and merge into Benedikt Frey’s 'Fastlane'. Imagine sitting in the driver’s seat of a an automobile, one with exceptional horsepower and torque, as you stare out the windshield at the red light, warping in fata-morgana a mile down the road. It’s a straight-away, a black top with two lanes, and against your better judgment you decide to floor the gas. No hesitation in your muscle, your ankle or the ball of your foot, which you now realize is some kind of universal pivot, the first point of contact fusing your body with the will of machine. In this moment you’re in awe that you, a human, an animal, grew from pond scum into something so advanced as to engineer this thing, a mechanical beast capable of overwhelming power and exhilaration. But you also feel a seductive dread, an outside force diverting you from caution toward a dangling carrot of curiosity, asking yourself, ‘How far can I take this thing?’ The dread, now a constant, is numbed, equalized by an adverse intoxicating gratification. You feel both sensations in real time, however, rather than take responsibility for yourself, friends, family and innocent bystanders, you cement your foot to the floor and lean your head back. Noise around you fades to mute. Smell the benzene-scented air, feel the wind on your face, the menacing vibration of the vessel you control beneath you and every grain of asphalt under its tires. This mile has now lasted an eternity and you’ve left your body for some objective view, as if watching climax of a film. Past the point of no return, you embrace abandon and lean into fate. The film becomes slow motion, a crawling pace so mesmerizing you convince yourself of an option to eject yourself from this madness, but as you finally let go of your last morsel of fear, you run the red light head-on into the nucleus of a fantastic glistening sculpture of torn metal, glass, oil, broken dreams and heartache. 'Fastlane' may be just drum machines and synthesizers if you’re timid, but listen harder and know the catastrophic reality of existence, a wreckage so gruesome we dare not rubberneck, but afterall it is our nature to stare.

Another volume of ‘Lucyna Tape’ series highlighting the embodied vision. This time, we’re portraying a tale by the ones who witnessed the mystical aura surrounding the day-stage at Lucyna 2022 festival. The stage was called ‘Przebudzenie’ - a polish word for ‘awakening’ and was all about the sonic narrative inspired by the lusty meadows from the lands.


On the sun side, Father And Son Records and Tapes' label head-honcho and one of the first polish DJs Maciek Sienkiewicz and mysterious @ys with a tender lookout at the frosty windows, Freux magnetic attraction for the untroubled soul archipelago. Katalpia’s flowers ready to bud steadily alongside Bory-Tucholskie-based producer Lowhitey . Breslau’s finest Dj Duch with a concrete balearic sketch ballade, a whispering recollection of memories by Mniej Niż Trzy (Madikoptah & fopa duo) and the aquatic experimental echo from Poznan-based TTT+ (aka TBH)


On the moon side, Dj Grzyb’s DMT-trip shaped by free-form delusions, Ivan Bayor’’s odd-ball acoustic chuggin’ ode to the dawn creatures, followed by a passage to the mentally wide planet Blu Terra (aka Newborn Jr.) for an adventurous encounter reminiscing the glory days of night slugs, astronomical dreaming sessions with Lotus Reaction . Personal Sauveur’s poetic, dubby and painful truth, whale spirits whistling secret symphonies to KCN lug holes and last but not least, Pejzaż’s expanding soundscape filled with timeless relics and echoes.


As Lucyna, we’re proud to curate and present to you the hidden gems of various generations of Polish subterranean club scene in a very contemplative locus. We give you this tape as a symbol of appreciation and respect for our local scene and community - shout out to you.

The Imaginarium is a unique pearl gleaming within the beautiful galaxy of Lithuanian festivals. Super small in size, yet abundant in beauty of all kinds, the festival is – first and foremost – about the joy of the creation process. This is an essential aspect of human growth that is often overlooked during modern-day events.

Pretty Much tribe nurtures a culture of support, mutual creation, and skill-sharing. With every third person of the community having learned how to use the DJ decks, it was only natural to take a step forward into music production. This is how five producers were paired with six beginners to go on a unique musical journey together for this compilation of six tracks. Each of them explores the idea of connectedness since the main theme of The Imaginarium VII was about transforming aloneness into oneness.

We believe that genuine and meaningful connections are what every human being truly seeks. The question then is: what if some of the energy put into hyping up people with big names was redirected into fostering co-creation? How much is it possible for a person to become more authentic & open up due to the environment?

To answer this, Pretty Much tribe has built a utopian village, where everyone is called by their name. An idealistic culture that values sharing over commerce. A space where every individual can bask in the sun of imagination by playing an important part in the collective. Get inspired to give in to oneness by immersing yourself in the ripples of ‘Echoes of The Imaginarium VII’.
