After a summer break and a few
 events launched in Bordeaux and Lisbon, @scenecityeu makes its return on Mutant. The concept is still the same for the platform: to showcase the local musical landscape of a few cities through the lens of local artists. This new episode is dedicated to the
 Vilnius scene. 
Together with its partner @palanga_street_radio,
 Scene city invited @quaintas who has been active in the local scene for over eight years. Currently he is a resident show host at @palanga_street_radio with his monthly show ENTR'ACTE and duo project COOL AIR. He is also a collective member of @minimal-lt
 who have run the electronic music night Minimal Mondays since 2006. In this mix, Quaint pieces together a personal perspective of the Vilnius electronic music scene, pacing through the best of its more experimental and melancholic side.

Starting his musical journey in the bars and cellars of Vilnius more than 7 years ago, Quaint can now be seen behind the decks of most of the cities' nightlife institutions. 

Primarily known as a house DJ he is not afraid to explore all its sub-genres as well as quirkier and more distant corners of electronic music. As he puts it himself  - "This mix marks an end of one cycle in my creative endeavours and signifies a start of another. A journey with a breaksy start evolving into a more conventional 4x4 beat with underlying atmospheric synth lines and percussion heavy drum lines. Stay safe and enjoy!" ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Pletnev taste in music is quite eclectic. In 2017 & 2018 he did splendid afro & oriental flavored EPs for such imprints like Meda Fury, Bahnsteig23, Needs and Mehmet's & Majica’s Fleeting Wax. More atmospheric, dark and deep EPs went out via Le Temps Perdu, Biologic, Secretsundaze sublabel SZE & french experimental label KUMP.

Alex perfectly represents new lithuanian scene of electronic artists among names like Manfredas, Juoduomenė, V and many others. He residents in Vilnius mekka of nightlife - Opium club and became a part of “Opium of the People” compilation in 2018.

Linas Strankauskas better known as Pinigai is whom on the first glance you’d call a new comer.

But the west sider spins a wide spectrum of quality house on the weekly basis around Lithuania doing warm ups for central names in today's genre.

Young and enthusiastic approach at times seems effortless while you observe Pinigai playing. Although this exterior hides hours of digging through new and old, fresh and classic tracks.
