This time we welcome Alex, co-founder of Electric Shapes label & party series in Lithuania, on our monthly „Sound Archives” broadcast on Radio Kapital! 

Alex is a Lithuanian DJ and a passionate digger! This time he has prepared a unique mix which opens up his eclectic nature. „While sharing the mix, I thought about how quickly everything in the world is changing. About the fact that there is nothing permanent. Also in music. In each of my selections, I try to include as many genres as possible and remain as eclectic as possible. Show more to the listener in one hour, but stick to one line. Sometimes I overdo it. This time was no exception. The first version contains hip hop, more ambient. But while searching, I felt that many things do not sound together. The second attempt at your trial, the gray sky of Vilnius, the sun peeking out from the corner, wet asphalt and the smell of smoke.” – says Alex.

To pass the atmosphere of the mix we’ve created an analogue cover made from epoxy resin.

Paulius Austrevičius, also known as @clicklounge, is a key figure behind the J CLUB parties in Vilnius. He is long-time resident DJ at Opium and Gallery 1986 clubs. This mixtape is inspired by his radio broadcast "Remote Dreaming", airing on Radio Vilnius.

Remote Dreaming is a self reflection, transcendent journey & a self conversance on it's own. An explicit bout between serene sounds & solitary soul. The growth sets the eyes on two diverse but tightly coherent parts, merging all kinds of ambience & shaping an unexplored force. Ambient times are always now.

Paulius Austrevičius - Remote Dreaming / Side B [ITI006]

Paulius Austrevičius aka CLICKLOUNGE is best known for his involvement in the reputables Opium Club & gallery 1986 in VIlnius, Lithuania, where he is regularly found both behind the decks and in the background working at production team & helping to curate clubs' programs, bringing some of the most exciting and interesting DJs and artists over to play in the space. He is an exigent selector & a firm devotee of music as an expression form itself. His carefully researched selections go in tandem with unique house & techno cuts, oddities & always mussing amongst various musical compositions & it’s subjections, blending the sounds into one hefty unit. It's here that he also holds a residency at Opium club and runs his own club night called J CLUB, alongside friends Tadas Quazar and Tumosa.

Chorbika is Jelena Stankovic, a Belgrade based DJ, producer, live performer and party promoter. With the newly started label Chorbika Records she has recently released their first EP entitled Ti i ja (You and I). Being very active within the local scene both as a DJ, performer and as a promoter, booking some of the hottest names and labels, Chorbika is boosting in a new and distinctive vibe. She was the first one to book the marvelous Red Axes, Simple Symmetry, Zombies in Miami, Marvin & Guy, Tyree Cooper, Jacques...to name but a few.

Chorbika is the name who plays in Belgrade's most popular electronic clubs like Drugstore, 20/44. She is the resident of Belgrade Cultural Center - Kc Grad.
