Šią savaitę šokėjus savaitgaliui ruošia spalvinga asmenybė, pasislėpusi po slapyvardžiu JAROŠKA. Atlikėjas muzikiniame pasaulyje pirmuosius žingsnius žengė 2012-taisiais, kuomet pažindinosi su kompozicija, o 2014-taisiais kibo į ilgametę draugystę su DJ pulto mygtukais. Atlikėjas tikina, jog muzika buvo jo vaistas nuo skausmo, apie tai atviravo ir LRT mediatekoje esančiame interviu "Švelnūs Tardymai. Didžėjus Deividas Jaroška", skaudūs išgyvenimai taip pat padėjo atrasti ir pamilti elektroninės muzikos skambesių pripildytą sceną. Žingsnis po žingsnio ir 2016-taisiais JAROŠKA pasileido į šokėjų širdžių užkariavimo misiją festivalyje "Funikulierius" ir legendiniame "Yucatan extensión". Atlikėjas tikina, kad pastarieji metai atnešė įsimintiniausius renginius jo karjeroje - festivalį "Yaga Gathering" su psychodelikos kupinu sekmadienio rytmečiu ir klubo Kablys renginių seriją "Monomania", kurios metu JAROŠKA buryje draugų ir nuotaikingų šokėjų keliavo nuo house ir experimental club iki hard techno garsų, o naktį užbaigė Cream Soda neišleistu šlageriu. JAROŠKA nesivaiko etikečių - groja tai, kas miela širdžiai ir sukuria gerą vaibą vakarėlio dalyviams. Susipažink dabar - išgirsk gyvai vasario 25 dieną klube Elastica.

A permanent feature of Dixon’ and Âme’ sets, the Tel Aviv born Tal Fussman marks the 3rd episode of our „Quantum Spits“ series focusing on a Detroitish minimalism.

„Children of 95“ resembles the turning of past and future, cleverly woven into a package of raw sounding club tracks inspired by influential releases from Detroit legends like Robert Hood, his outstanding family project Floorplan or the sub-aquatic basslines productions by Derrick May. He incorporates elements of soul and funk, infusing warmth and emotion into an unpolished sound universe that creates a unique sonic texture based on minimalism and space. With a sense of exploration in sound design, Tal Fussman takes classic elements and transforms them into his own vision of House Music, unique to its creator.

Garçon Gaston was born on the coast of the Ukranian-Azov sea and is now living at Berlin. His eclectic approach to setting up storytelling developed through time, combining listening and danceable elements.

He has been collecting and playing music for more than a decade. Mystic, dark and sometimes funny (meant with a wink), his record collection ranges from Slacid, Leftfield-Disco, Kraut, and Wave to Electro and Trance.

Italo Deviance (real name Marcello Giordani) began his artistic journey in the 1990s in Italy, during the height of the House Music phenomenon. He was an avid attendee of record fairs, always on the hunt for USA-style Disco vinyl, amassing an extensive collection. He also performed at some of Italy's best parties, such as Cocoricò, Echoes, Matis, Kinki and more.

In the early 2000s, he developed a passion for and began collecting Italo Disco vinyl, often for just a few cents. In 2008, he founded a blog called Italo Deviance with the mission of promoting the most obscure tracks and versions of early 1980s Italian dance music.

From 2011 to 2023, he became part of the duo Marvin & Guy, which has since evolved into Circle Point Circle. At the start of 2024, Marcello resumed work on his label, Italo Deviance Music, embarking on a rebranding effort. This new phase explores underground electronic music without sticking to a specific genre, discovering and producing talented artists in both digital and vinyl formats. He places no particular emphasis on their social media hype, focusing solely on the music.

This philosophy gave rise to the motto: "Italo Deviance, where only the music matters."

Next up on our Mix series is this fresh blend by Moscow Duo Simple Symmetry. The Lipsky brothers have been rising steadily through excellent releases or tracks on Glenview, Low Budget Family, XXX, Cosmic Pint Glass or Disco Halal and it's a real pleasure to have them. Enjoy the mixture !

LYO#097 / Simple Symmetry

The new release by Fabio Me Llaman Soltero and Don Ipanema Boi on the promising label Richmerch is what we would call “batidão” in Brazil, something like “strong beat”, in a free translation, and it could easily be played during a Baile Funk in Rio de Janeiro due to the strong influence of the spicy and vibrant Funk Carioca in it. “Guatemalan Brigadeiro” has Brazilian influence in its title as well: “Brigadeiro” is a nationwide beloved dessert that can be defined as a bonbon “between a fudgy chocolate truffle and a Tootsie Roll”.

Fun fact: Brigadeiro is Fabio’s favourite dessert, and reportedly, Don Ipanema’s girlfriend prepares the best brigadeiro in the world, because of this the song was named like that. “We wanted to make a simple and non-serious idea with a good and aggressive rhythm that could express the Brazilian and Guatemalan cultures using elements from both countries”, according to Fabio.

Another fun fact: “Fabio Me Llaman Soltero is a character conceptualized by my strong Latin boyband influences that I had when I was a kid, actually I personally met one of the greatest boybands in history: Magneto (Mx). This happened because my mom was a really good friend of the mom of one of the Magneto members. So, Fabio is a rare hybrid between Julio Iglesias, Flavio Cesar, Kairo & Magneto (all Latin pop legends) and he loves a good suntan, yachts and beautiful chicas. My music is inspired in that lifestyle”, said Fabio.

Don Ipanema Boi is Fabio’s brother (real one) and his character comes from his obsession for the Brazilian culture (his girlfriend – the-best-brigadeiro-in-the-world girl – is from São Paulo, by the way). That’s why his music – both DJ sets and productions – has a strong Brazilian feeling.

“Guatemalan Brigadeiro” recipe: Lasers from old game consoles currently used in shitty arcades in abandoned spots in the historic district in Guatemala City, throbbing and striking basslines and vocals from Brazil.
