Such a pleasure to get these two on the series. Malouane and Sam Goku have become the kind of guy I often find myself listening. And I secretly and tremendously appreciated the taste and built for music. These guys are great producer for sure but they come to transpose their art into proper sets that make as much sense here online as on real life with a proper floor to welcomes the kicks.

Hoshina Anniversary is from Hachioji, westside of Tokyo. His new LP of fluid, experimental dance music draws upon his influences of jazz fusion, electronica, and Japanese heritage. HakkyouShisou translates to “going crazy”, which captures the intensity and movement of a rhythmic / club atmosphere. Crisp, minimalist beats and melodies build at an urgent velocity, while a smoky piano plinks out chords.

The last guest mix of 2022 is extra special to us. Prague-based DJ @brigitte_noir started playing years ago in Olomouc as a resident of (now sadly inactive) Metro chill out club where she also guided Makropulos's and Surrealita's first DJ steps back in the day. So we're suuper grateful and happy to include her set in our guest mix library. You can hear Brigitte hosting at Radio Wave, she has also a regular show at @radiopunctum focused on 115 BPM-ish slo-mo house and disco. However! As her selection is much wider than that, she prepared something quite different for us. In this mix expect breaks and trancey vibes with a touch of 90's nostalgia and a BPM rate that won't keep you sitting still.

For this episode, Do not call the doctor is going to be a special one. In June I had the pleasure to attend, alongside Virgil, The Secret Garden's year anniversary party. 
A bookshop based in Timisoara, Romania, that sells and promotes books, magazines, DIY publications, photo-zines, illustrations, comic books, prints, ceramics and much much more.
They mostly try to support the not so common things and stimulate your interest in out of the box content.
For their anniversary me and Virgil planned an unplanned back to back set that came out better than we expected. 
All of this was influenced by the lovely people that attended, a lot of gigantic mosquitoes, some vegan salty cake and many shaky drinks. Enjoy!
