The mast towered into the clouds, stretching high above the ship's sails that rippled lightly in the wind. Their journey had been incredibly smooth since departing; the skies had been blue and the waters calm, almost too calm... They couldn't complain about the ease with which their trip had run so far, but it was difficult not to worry that treacherous waters weren't awaiting them ahead.

Ombra International come correct with their first V/A release of 2021, calling on another batch of like-minded artists to contribute. While several artists make their triumphant return to the label —Freeride Millenium's Jorkes & Nikkname, Silicodisco & Madrid's Rotten City Records boss, Alvaro Cabana, Berlin-based Skelysys and Belgian artist NAUFRAGI— Random Atlas member Ducati Flex makes his debut, ahead of several other tracks this year on Ombra, as does London producer and DJ Birds, whose track pays tribute to the late Andrew Weatherall.

INDUSTRIA #3 is the 3rd vinyl release combining all tracks not yet released on Vinyl from Compilation #1 + #2. Including The Lunacy Of Flowers (Robi Insinna Versions), SASM, Silent Servant remix, Robi Insinna’s Hard Work 2020 Dub, Nik Colk Void Remix and some Dub versions.

Side A starts off with Robi Insinna’s version of Your Way by The Lunacy Of Flowers. The Lunacy Of Flowers is a one man post-industrial act from London. Robi Insinna added and reworked the original version. 

Next is SASM – Democracy and Collective Action. SASM is a new collaboration project by Douglas McCarthy (Nitzer Ebb) and Robi Insinna. Under that banner the collective interests of both Insinna and McCarthy in raw beats and sharp edge funk are laid bare. It shows the depth of knowledge and interest in the underground.

Robi Insinna’s Hard Work (2020 Dub) is the last track on this side. The original Version was on IND001 blue limited edition Vinyl.

Side B starts with the Dub version of Your Way by The Lunacy Of Flowers. It was done in a real style dub session using an analog mixer and external reverbs, effects and tape delays.

Silent Servant remixed SASM – Democracy. Juan Mendez aka Silent Servant is a producer and DJ from L.A. He added his apocalyptic culture aesthetics, capturing the youth-driven mutation of crossover electronics. The remix feels like a wired Alan Vega / Nitzer Ebb track from the early 2000's that does not exist. 

Nik Colk Void remix of Democracy by SAMS is the next track. Next to her solo work she is part of Carter Tutti Void and Factory Floor. 

The last track on this side is Collective Action (Rockers version) by SASM.

Producing under Euclio moniker since his early dubstep years, Prague based architect by the time shaped his vibes to more club-oriented territories.., yet still forming both unusually structured and (thus) strangely catchy environment and beat patterns..
But where to move when there are no dancefloors at all?

His addition Cyno is likely taking place at voluntarily dissociated living rooms, outputting undetermined schizoid of intensions to dance, but in mostly isolated spaces.. experiencing lonely happiness and moments of introversion. Like a look onto smile and grin of the presence, with the black coloured lipstick on.

While original versions feel weirdly charming and somehow pure and simple in its effectiveness - tight percussions are riding like razor edges over surrounding darken lights of the atmospheres, beats‘ clips and pieces swarming with bubbling and blopping synths..; remixers puts heavy-atmo lines and waves, observing sound material, worming you, or hypnotise.. But still, there’s enough space to drow or sink in..
