Peregrination is a ritual incantation, a mystical quest orchestrated by Drawbridge. At the crossroads between tribal trance and incantatory techno, this EP invokes the energy of ancient forests and forgotten creatures. Beating drums, enchanted textures and goblin pulses shape a world where dance becomes ceremony. This musical adventure is the result of a clear intention, crafted with an alchemical precision. Two remixes extend the exploration with BLUME offering a hypnotic and steamy version, while Forest reveals a more incandescent and telluric aspect. An initiation journey for those ready to cross the threshold.

Matteo Viani (Black Seed) and Andrea Marini (SabaSaba) gather their gears and influences to craft a narrative and figurative landscape through sounds and signals. 
These 8 tracks, as sounds experimentations, have been spontaneously recorded live, then enhanced by Tioma Tchoulanov (Nze Nze) mastering, create a navigation in some shallow waters, a Path of Paladin from the darkness to the light of brighter days. 

This comes as a tape, dubbed on recycled batches, wrapped in a very exclusive collage by Andrea Marini.

Pure Space presents Black Smoke (2025 Remaster) by Andy Rantzen - our first-ever reissue, and a nod to a pivotal voice in Australia’s electronic music lineage.

Originally released in 2001 via the Creative Vibes compilation The Blue Hour Vol. 3: Deep Blue, Black Smoke is a deep cut from one of Eora/Sydney’s most quietly influential producers. Known for his work with Pelican Daughters, Itch-E & Scratch-E, and countless solo projects, Rantzen’s fingerprints are all over the foundations of Australian dance culture.

In revisiting the track for reissue, Andy uncovered three never-before-released alternate mixes buried deep in his DAT archive. Each offering a fresh perspective on the original’s tight tek percussion and deep soaring synths.

The newly remastered original lifts with propulsive clarity and analogue weight, while Alternative Mix 1 brings added bass pressure and sharpened percussion. Alternative Mix 2 introduces a classic acid lead, warping the groove into something more angular and elastic. Alternative Mix 3 slows the tempo and rinses the bassline, shifting the track into a darker, stauncher terrain - a twisted inversion of the original heat.

Nearly 25 years on, Black Smoke remains vital - a reminder that some frequencies never fade, they just keep mutating.
