The debut release from hot new Glasgow label
Curriculum Vital comes from none other than its founder Vital Spark.

Written and recorded during the cold harsh Scottish winter, Diskoteket is the antithesis of the long dark nights, exuding positive vibes and playfulness. 
On the A-side, the EP's title track Diskoteket pays homage to our neighbours across the North Sea, whilst the A2 Leijonat looks even further east, an imagined anthem to its namesake.

The B-side opens up with Stone Of Destiny, a Eurodance channelling banger dedicated to a certain watering hole in Glasgow's West End. Those who know, know... Finally the record finishes with Pace Yourself, a straight up peak time club cut with a gentle reminder to take it easy once in a while.

With Diskoteket, Vital Spark provides a modern take on the classic sounds of genres like Italo Disco and Eurodance - big synths, liberal use of arpeggiators and just the right amount of
nostalgia.

Raised in a musicians family and passionate about art, she has been practicing dance since childhood, it is in 2022 that Christie decided to go behind the decks.

As an electronic music lover since ever, her style balance between Indie dance (italo, dark disco) and darker vibes like trance, always enhancing her sets with percussion sounds.

In November 2022, she co-founded Club Sauvage with 4 friends, with the aim of promoting electronic music in Paris and Tours, her hometown.

Composed of 3 DJs with eclectic styles, they had the chance to participate in festivals such as les Ilots Electroniques and Aucard de Tours, but also invest the Parisian scene by mixing at la Rotonde, la Java or l'Appart du Badaboum..

Laura Hairdressa is a rising star from Vilnius, not only a professional hairdresser but also a producer and singer with a low, deep voice that easily reminds listeners of early Madonna. Her passion for music culminated in the release of 4 debut songs, where pop structures and melodies blend seamlessly with the authentic sound of 90’s club music genres like house, breakbeat, and UK groove.

However, despite the easy-to-dance-to club music base, don't be fooled - Hairdressa's lyrics delve much deeper. Her songs touch on themes such as painful breakups, the blinding euphoria of substance use, fear of intimacy, and a zest for life. The result is a collection of beautiful and sophisticated songs that can find a place both on the radio and the dance floor.

The incredible remix support comes from beloved artists like Lauer, as well as talented musicians from Lithuania, including Auren, Cport Cistema, and Pletnev.
