Atoraye is the project of electronic and multi-instrumentalist Geo Kotanov, resident of Kruzhok Radio, member of KLU project, producer and co-founder of Formless fm. Inspired by the new Middle Eastern sound of the capitals of Egypt, Lebanon and Iran, Geo creates his own ornate post-oriental language. Geo's Assyrian roots give his music a distinctive flavour. 
Rough and spacey dub-techno, moving into deafening noise and leftfield, which moves seamlessly into soothing, depressive droning and fragile ambient. It's all filled with whipping percussion, looped chants in Semitic languages and mystical oud playing.

Dark matter, oriental sound, UK vibe, some broken rhythms and even the premiere of a new track (comming soon almost)

:012 - Atoraye [Kruzhok Radio]

Kyiv-based @gasolineradio is opening a music label with a first release on 26th of April. This first effort is from the Ukrainian musician from Kharkiv - Maksym Merkulov aka @thewhaler. It is dedicated to Memorial Day of the Chernobyl tragedy.
