"As we mark the milestone of POLAAR's 10th anniversary, we are thrilled to introduce you a brand new compilation that redefines our sonic territories and encapsulates the essence of our exploration in sound.

Driven by the desire of independence and their common passion for bass-fueled rhythms and experimental sounds, Flore and her mate Marc Weistroff decided to launch their label POLAAR ten years ago, with the ambition of shaping a unique Bass Music signature, as far as possible from any identification to the originating UK club scene. Since then, the Lyon-based imprint has been at the forefront of a musical revolution, championing diverse artists from all over the globe and pushing the limits of genre conventions through numerous events, live shows, radio appearances and releases.

All this efforts are embodied within the french word «Territoires », that is entitling each one of the label’s compilations until now and which can be defined as it follows : an expanse of land, more or less clearly delimited, which generally presents a certain unity, a particular character.

Territoires Vol.3 is a collective effort with which we have asked our label core members and a few invited artists to work on a remix of a tune taken from the POLAAR’s back catalog. It is a way to pay tribute to various releases we think are still fresh and relevant, and thus create bridges between our past and present as a sonic community and ever evolving label. A way to showcase the depth and diversity of our musical vision, without rut of styles or BPM."

The Bogotá based imprint drops its third release and launches the Split Trax series, a concept built around the essence of collaboration. The debut of Split Trax brings together four unique artists, each expanding the horizons of the hybrid club sound, giving deconstructed-tribal-rhythmically immersive vibes. DLBCN was brought by Ukrainian The Lazy Jesus to the table, setting the stage with a track that feels like a punch to the face—a raw blend of heavy bass, tribal rhythms, and stripped-down beats. This primal energy serves as the perfect playground for the remixes to follow, making each layer hit harder than the last. Kicking things off, Ene Ese (Ecuador) drops a remix that fuses deep, bass-driven lines with intricate percussive layers, building from an intense, headbanging pulse into a restless, hypnotic rhythm that hooks you hard. Next up, DJ Latinchat (Peruvian/Berlin-based) takes the track into darker Latin club territory, blending Afro-Latino punch with a mesmeric, bass-heavy flow. It's a rhythmic trip that layers Latin American beats into a psychedelic, almost trance-like tapestry. Lastly, Tufi (Argentinian/Berlin-based) dials in a dark, ambient-heavy remix, layering deep, textured bass with shadowy atmospherics. The track brings an immersive, weighty cadence marked by raw, moody intensity and sound design that’s as mysterious as it is captivating. Split Trax sets the tone for a series that will continue evolving, showcasing one track reimagined through multiple visions and styles.

AM Hi is a DJ and a promoter, active on local and regional scenes in the past 7 years. His sets show his performative and dynamic character and intensity, led by emotions and sex-drive as an external stimulus. In 2019, he moved to Belgrade, where he became one of the SUTRA/СУТРА (@https://soundcloud.com/sutra_club) residents. This year he became a resident of the queer collective SLUTka.
In the past few years, AM Hi performed in clubs Drugstore, Mutabor, Blank, Tunnel, Peti Kupe and many more.
