Unusual pronunciation/tone of Minotaur - at least to my ears anyway - adds a intriguing element of mystery.

Can't read the track notes thanks to the fucking useless soundcloud app but this was a cool track, I'm guessing that was Guys delightfully gritty bass, very nice and Karens high vocal really worked with your own. Your songs are always interesting and unusual in topic, horns up !

I Ran

"Pyromancer" is a fiery folk metal song about the conquest of a medieval fortress. Can something be more metal than fire, magic and a heavy wall of guitars?!

This song is what happens when weird ideas come to another and bring people together. The catchy melody longed for a hurdy gurdy and heavy guitars.  Jordan's power metal falsetto brought my pen and paper inspired lyrics into life. A rough demo of us two summoned Stephan and Simon, who handed in plenty of bass, mandoline and guitar takes. Ben had an idea for a violin solo I could never think of. We ended up writing and recording a metal song that may never existed, if we took ourselves too serious. We already had a videoclip in mind, but I grabbed my graphics tablet instead and drew the pyromancer with that evil grin on his face. 

Thanks for the joy you've brought to me. I hope you enjoy the song as much as we do! We wish you a happy new year - and now let the pyros go off!

There really are no limits... new ideas are churning through my mind almost weekly. Some tunes start off with a bagpipe tune. Others start off with a few beats worked out on an iOS device. I often sing new tunes to myself, record them on my iOS device and then write them down... and the creative process continues...
