One of Northern Ireland’s finest exports, EJECA, joins Shall Not Fade label with an impeccable 5 tracks EP. A master of his craft, he has released on seminal labels, including Sasha’s Last Night on Earth and BPitch! Control among many others. Living by the ‘music first hype later’ mantra, Ejeca here dishses up a real nice sonic smorgasbord on this new EP. 

One of his heftier offerings, opener "BetterB" is a total slammer! Nostalgic rave breaks, trance enhanced breakdowns, discrete vocals and broken-beats to shake life into you. "Never Should" is a more
recognisable cut from the Northern Irish artist. Classy 4/4 laden with nice grooves, uplifting keys and a gently wiggling acid line; this is pure 'hands in the air' house for rose-tinted summer days. 

B-side kicks off on a frenzied start with "Polar" an electro-infused house banger, followed with machine funk "Nation", a vibey, retro electro number. This is one for the small hours to get totally lost in. 

Finally, "Real" brings the EP to an epic close. This big room vibe-machine channels old Detroit vibes, it’s impossible not to get swept up into this groove!

With their Soul Of Hex @soulofhex project, they have already contributed heavily to the house and techno scene, DJing, promoting events, performing live sets and releasing surgical house cuts for labels such as Quintessentials, Secret Crunch, CVMR, Dirt Crew as well as their own Vicario imprint. 

Having previously dropped two heavyweight EPs on Freerange Records, and label boss Jimpster now  welcome the brothers on his Delusions Of Grandeur @delusionsofgrandeur imprint for an absolute banger of a release entitled "Disco Permanente EP".

From the crunchy, high energy drive of the title track with its MPC-style edits and punchy stabs, to the optimistic vibe permeating through closing track "Psychic", from the Soundhack-inspired craziness of "Drum Fantasy" to the live, octave bassline stomp of "Polygon Alpha Funk" featuring Cornelius SA, this is an EP deeply rooted in the origins of house music. London-based producer Alfredo Romero @alfredoromerouk, head honcho of the Tapas Wax imprint, here joins the Dansu Discs @dansudiscs family as part of the fourth volume of the label's VA series.

This 18th release from the label sees an impressive list of up and coming artists gathered on the compilation, such as Ethyene, Interplanetary Criminal, Warwick, as well as Dansu Discs returning acts Pinder and Main Phase, amongst others.  

An extremely talented producer, Alfredo Romero's knowledge spreads all across the music spectrum, from jazz to blues all the way through to electronic music where his new alias sits. ⁣With "ASMR" he offers a pure UK Garage track using samples of pianos, strange sounds, whispering voices and bleeps, making it an impressively dynamic and smart production. A genius sound, and definitely an artist to keep an eye on!
