In pace with rapid beats and under the influence of entheogenic sacraments, we have been dancing and raving in the smoke of sacred fires in order to travel inwards to the undergrounds of bordering dimensions and beyond to the distant fringe of the universe.
Ntogn (enteogen) wants to embody these holy flames and visionary clouds of smoke. To act as a sonic magician, not only fusing the five elements of the pentagram with spells evoked in swirling, dark and psychedelic techno rituals, but also to create a mythological and occult narrative.

There’s many legendary dance floors in the world. Some we have managed to dance on ourselves. Our next guest Wes Baggaley has pretty much played on them all. From the legendary NYC Downlow at Glastonbury, to the Panorama Bar. More recently the mighty Bassiani and FOLD’s infamous Sunday party ‘Unfold’ and let’s not forget EVERYBODY’S favourite that is the Meat Free dance floor. 

Wes’ knowledge of dance music is one of the best in the game, bending through different genres such as house, techno, electro and breakbeat gear, whilst keeping the party people in a trip at all times.

A principios de siglo, cuando la electrónica acababa de explosionar llenando las calles de clubs y las zapatillas de baile, hubo un sello que supo llevar todo ello más allá y generar una de las primeras sectas musicales que se recuerdan. Hablamos de Border community, camada de genios como Nathan Fake, Four Tet, Luke Abbot, Extrawelt y por supuesto del mayor de todos, James Holden. Es, y no nos pasamos de frenada diciendo esto, uno de los sellos más influyentes de la historia de la electrónica, y como tal se merece su electromagnética.

Fueron los responsables de que en pistas anteriormente saturadas por el beat la peña bailara con los ojos cerrados melodías eternas, y a quien hay que agradecer que en unos años donde el mínimal mal entendido era omnipresnete dejándolo todo de mierda hasta el techo, daban esperanza y alivio al oído del inquieto.

Hailing from the Netherlands and now based in Berlin, Nick Lapien (@lapien) is a DJ and producer whose sounds encapsulate delicate and detailed grooves, combined with an unwavering understanding of what makes dance floors oscillate. Perhaps best known as one half of Artefakt (@artefakt-official) alongside @cyspe (aka Robin Koek), Lapien has also enjoyed a prolific solo career, with releases on labels such as Fred P’s @soul-people-music, DVS1 ’s Mistress Records and Radio Slave’s @rekids. Although recent years have seen him focus mostly on his work with Artefakt, early 2019 saw a return to solo form for him with a stunning debut EP on cult Moroccan label Tikita (@tikitarec).

Lapien's Patterns of Perception 53 is a rhythmic excursion that journeys between deep, percussive grooves and mind expanding house-oriented reflections, both punctuated and anchored by the understated energy and momentum that he calls his own.
