Early Reflex returns with its yearly appointment announcing a new V.A. to celebrate its 3rd birthday as a label.

Bringing the title of Flex004 the compilation features a selection of Leftfiled Club and Techno cuts from producers that have both already appeared on the label such as B E N N, Laenz, Sonia Calico and Alec Pace himself and other up and coming artists like Naco, Coe, Kincaid, Scalymoth, Ani Klang and the debut track from Ophélie.

Brisbane-based producer and DJ Scalymoth drops our feature: ‘Trashy’; an ode to drums and an outstanding club tool characterised by syncopated beats, snare rimshots and a pressing kick-drum played on the producer’s TR6s.

This eclectic collection of tracks showcases the talents of both emerging and established artists, drawing heavy inspiration from the legendary Detroit and Chicago electro scenes.  Our previous release was designed around peak time music and this new pack lends itself to the more experimental and heady side of the genre. If CDMUSIC008 was the party, this is the after-party.  CDMUSIC009 captures the pulsating energy and innovative soundscapes that have defined the genre for decades. Each artist on the compilation brings their unique perspective, blending classic electro elements with contemporary production techniques to create a sonic experience that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.  With tracks by Greazus, Footclan, label boss Sharkki and a handful of new comers, listeners can expect a journey through the rich tapestry of Detroit & Chicago electro history, paying tribute to the visionaries who paved the way while introducing exciting new voices to the genre.

Toronto-based producer and DJ, Daniel 58, makes his debut on Electroménager with a four-track club-ready EP. Taking cues from trap and dancehall, the Canadian artist showcases his taste for trippy sirens, intricate drum patterns and low-end heavy frequencies.

An edition of 30 clear lathe-cut dubplates will accompany the digital release.
