Raise your hand if you love lasers and cats! We thought what better way to bring in the new year than with a mix by Lazercat! The Berlin-based DJ and producer delivers an electro disco for us to dance the night away to. Lazercat makes disco house and electro, and has released music on labels including @bordelloaparigi, @snufftrax and Home Breakin Records. Her Vector Dance EP includes a dreamy acidic remix by @vertical67. She’s performed for @mechatronicamusic, Intergalactic FM and Dreams of Neon alongside other electro nobility. Watch out for exciting new Lazercat releases burning through the airwaves soon, and until then, let’s groove into 2020 with “cats on synthesizers in space!”

For this 252th Premiere of 2020, we have a track by the Latvia based music producer "Dmitry Distant" entitled ‘Nature's Interface’ from the upcoming Split EP "Travelogue" [HE-02] on Electronic Leatherette's sub-label : Heretic Electro.

"777% live track from forthcoming Travelogue EP [out on 05/11/20]
Instruments: Roland AlphaJuno-2, Korg Wavestation SR, Kawai K11, Roland TR-606 and Elektron Digitakt.
Digitakt was used as sampler (of course), midi source to run all the synths above though Kawai MAV8 and clock generator for TR-606. 
For reverb and delay effect I was using Alesis Midiverb 2 and ART Multiverb Alpha.
No backlines were used, whole track was recorded straight from Mackie VLZ-1604Pro.

"I try to create rooms with spheric acidic robotic atmospheres, like galactical dreams.
All in all, I see it as a homage to the classic timeless electro music for example, Kraftwerk.
Over the years I am reffering my music to those idols and it helped me beginnig my own style.
There are even people who say, my music has a melancholical and scientific touch.

As a member and a founder of the Noar-Crew, I had the opportunity to influence the musicscene in the east-german city, Dresden, like at underground spots, free raves, but as well in clubs. "

[PREMIERE] Testkard 225 - Flames [Confused Machines] 

Testkard 225 was a pioneering industrial project by journalist Danny Beller, releasing a handful of cassettes during the 80s and was a major influence for the electronic and experimental scene in Isreal. 

Recorded on a four-track with minimal electronic equipment in desert city Beer Sheva, Gebanku is about a world collapsing into dystopia, caused by a drastic event or a virus that disrupts the existing order of things. Kicking off with a seemingly optimistic opening, then going through a darker phase and eventually reaching a safe harbour.
