Our next installment of the mix series was created by the extraordinary producer, DJ, painter, graphic designer, and the person behind Adhémar and half of Aucuba Replica, Clément Davout. 

We wanted a mix from Clément early on. His works are like instances of mastered calligraphy, emotionally rooted into the intuitive understanding of human cognition. His exquisite sense of style, meticulous production, recognizable sonic palette, and sensitivity to the smallest details make him one of the Delayed all-time favorites. It seems like everything he puts his mind on never disappoints.  

For this mix, Adhemar reworked all the tracks and did special edits to make it unique. Delicate with a flawless flow; opening up, yet introspective. It spotlights all his signature elements and is mesmerizing in a balance of engagement, relaxation, and unwinding. We fell in love with it right away and honestly think it is one of Adhémar’s finest creations. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!🌱

We inaugurate the last month of the year with an epic ambient mix by Dynastor

Dynastor is a Dutch ambient artist that pushes the boundaries of the style. His mixes are known for the immense tracklists reflecting his methods; layering many tracks overtop each other to create immersive and dynamic mixes taking the listener along through what ambient can really be. He shows why ambient music has a place on the big soundsystem with heavy hitting basses, cinematic sweeps and deep textural soundscapes. That ambient as a background genre misses the point, that rather it tells a story, sketches a world, contains a journey. This is also a reflection of him as a person, always exploring new music and diversifying his repertoire as artist. This particular mix is focused on dark cinema, containing quite a few literal soundtracks. Additionally as is customary, there are several unreleased Dynastor tracks as well.

Simone Giudice (born 1989) is a composer and electronic music artist who bridges the gap between academic sound experimentation and the vibrant energy of club culture. His techno and dance-oriented sensibility merges with a solid foundation in electroacoustic composition.
Simone's artistic journey is defined by a constant oscillation between intimate and contemplative soundscapes—ambient, drone, and experimental—and the creation of intricate rhythmic patterns characteristic of inspired ambient techno. As a sound designer, he translates his vision into works that range from pure timbral exploration to hypnotic rhythmic structures, crafting pieces that embody a delicate balance between emotion and technical precision. "This mixtape is a sonic journey through a nocturnal, dreamlike landscape. I spun a web around the track selection using my own field recordings from India that I made a year ago and also used for my latest album ‘tirtha’ released on @hyalinrecords . I wanted to build oneiric layers of sound, all based on a meditative focal point and hypnotic pulsations"

Berlin-based Iranian DJ, producer, and sound engineer, Samo Rane is the founder of @mercyTechno, an international techno label and podcast series with over 300 mix releases. Each of Samo's releases carry a strong message in support of human rights, being a platform for social and political commentary. Having witnessed severe injustices in his home country, Samo channels his artistic energy into raising awareness about human rights issues. He is particularly committed to advocating for the freedom and equality of LGBTQIA and FLINTA communities, as well as showing solidarity with refugees. His work stands as a  powerful statement for justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Samo Rane is also resident Dj by Berliner Party and Event's series @art-bei-ton since 2019, and he is also one the selected artist's from Berliner Electronic music platform @novafuture.
Here some words from Samo about his mix: "This mix is a journey through light and shadow. Soft, deep sounds flow together. sometimes peaceful, sometimes full of tension. You can hear love and anger, but also the strength that rises when love resists hate. It’s a message without words. A slow, emotional trip through the universe into its deepest and highest places. If you take myth and folklore, and these things that speak in symbols, they can be interpreted in so many ways that although the actual image is clear enough, the interpretation is infinitely blurred, a sort of enormous rainbow of every possible colour you could imagine.

Campfire Stories is a mix series by friends of Silent Season. The focus of the series is on storytelling through deeper electronic music. Artists weave together narratives using the emotional characteristics of ambient and techno music.

Campfire Stories 37 (Colours Of Time) by Astral Industries

London based Ario is a practitioner of deep and inquisitive music both as a DJ and curator of his label Astral Industries. 
Although his remit falls within the deeper shades of electronic music, his overall aesthetic draws on a broader spectrum that prizes the synthesis of both instrumental and electronic disciplines. 
Depending on context, he traverses the lines and forms between the ambient and techno worlds. What is common in each, however, is his alchemic handling of rich organicism mixed with darker, more austere sounds. 
Speaking with an emotive sensitivity, there is a certain self-awareness that permeates his crafted soundscapes, which are as much drone inspired as they are psychedelic and nature-driven.
