Hi everyone,  my great passión is to listen good music of all styles and i compose    all gender of music, thank you so much for your attention and time, greetings.

progettosonoro è Marco Mascia, accumulatore seriale (e parallelo) di strumenti musicali e oggetti sonori e (non)musicista. Dal 2007 fa parte (con Manuel Lain) del duo Le Pecorecaramellate che ha all'attivo un Cd (Una botte e via! edito da Sesto Esercizio Records) e ha partecipato (Cagliari, 10 Ottobre 2015, Nuovo Panificio) al Multiversal EXP-OFF. 
Il 1 Maggio 2016, sempre al al Nuovo Panificio, ha partecipato, con la Roaring Pianolas Orchestra, alla perfomance live "pianoltre"

Notice of Intent:

We have notified SoundCloud, SoundCloud App, administration that we do not plan on uploading anymore tracks for public access to our music or to our upcoming album until such time they decide to enact our previous request for their platform to become a “verified profiles only” platform and implement it. 

We initially joined their platform to test them as a DSP (Digital Streaming Platform,) and went into their Pro package in September with the intention of doing a six month study of it to discern the pros and cons. That study ended at the end of March. 

Though it does have the positive side of getting music exposure for singers, songwriters, composers, producers, and artists… We've experienced an ongoing issue with multiple fake profiles being created to try to follow our musical journey, by those whose profiles we had blocked. Some of those became obvious stalkers… who we’d blocked (in one instance) over 50 profiles by the same entity (entities?) We stopped keeping track of the count, after fifty. There have been many folks creating multiple profiles we’ve blocked and they had gotten to the point it became a ridiculous use of our time and effort in trying to achieve true analytics, regarding airplay of our music. 

It has also become evident that SoundCloud, SoundCloud App, has become a secondary platform for those working and/or perhaps those who “deal in” the sex trade. Because in part they do not do verified profiles, some folks create profiles that only listen to music, if they even truly do listen; but to list things like “porn star” as their profession, in an effort to solicit from at least content or music creators who view these profiles… at least creators who are business minded and keep track of their listening analytics. We’ve lost count of the number of those we’ve blocked, as well. There are also content creators who are actively, “covertly” soliciting within their song titles, as well. 

Therefore, just as we do not promote certain big name movie companies because they have graphic artists who put sexual imaging within every children’s movie their company releases, intrinsically, subliminally “connecting” children with sex, sexual acts… essentially promoting the child sex trade and pedophilia within the USA which has become the number ONE industry… We will not be promoting SoundCloud or the SoundCloud App with any of our upcoming releases or upcoming album, unless or until they implement basic, minimal protections for those using them as a MUSIC platform. 

Our new song releases and upcoming album will only be released on our website, https://channeltherain.com/music (since SoundCloud administration hasn't even acknowledged receiving our message regarding this issue and the same behavior has increased.) Therefore, we have no other conclusion than to believe they not only know about this behavior; but, condone it.  We have taken almost all followers off of our profile, until such time as they can be verified, first. We are sorry for the inconveniences this causes; but, we do not care about having followers and/or plays by faked/false means. Until there is a verification process to “vet” listeners and followers and for those blocked to remain blocked, including actually removing the likes, number of plays, and comments they made… as well as preventing them from future access to the same… we find it to be a mute point to be using or engaging with SoundCloud, the SoundCloud App. Again, we apologize for any inconveniences to our genuine viewer/listenership… and will advise if and when things change and how to access our music either through our website and/or our FaceBook page.  As always, we thank you for your support, thus far, and for your patience in our effort to create the changes we wish to see in the world. Be Well.

About love:  It is utter nonsense to leave the generalization that if you give love you get love in return. It is simply NOT true.. When I look at abused children who have been entrapped within the confines of circumstances, all the love in the world doesn't STOP the abuser from seeing things in a perspective that will harness his faults he fails to identify. 

Some experiments may fail, but if we never tried, then we would not be moved to join on a path of something better...Why should there be shame? Experience can bring evolutionary changes. (Food for thought:)

FYI: I have to admit I am not trying to find a particular genre niche in my musical endeavors...I'm just wanting to enjoy the expedition of the musical wheels! ;)

Intro:) I am an artist of varying fields... who doesn't feel like I can be crammed into one genre, I create where I feel the spirit of the moment takes me.../' I've done choir performances, even had an experience with TV group performance. Been on radio, different stations--won an award out of Chicago...Won group trophy for best in regional singing...Was asked to be a select member of 8 singers called "The Pantherettes" as a Freshman.

Am back on my bike now enjoying the ride along the coast.

Am spending a lot more time on my music now since retiring from work in July 2020. Always learning new techniques and honing my craft. Am comfortable now with all chord sequences throughout the scales and loving improvising with the help of my mighty KORG still. Am still trying to give my full support and encouragement to all SC users and some latest (you know who you are), are developing nicely. Be good to one another, be gracious to others, leave your ego out of your life and above all else remember there is always someone worse off than yourself.
