This album is a dedication to my heart disease before my open-heart surgery called a Septal Myectomy on the 6th of September 2023. 
This is a meditational way for me to leave a lot of anxiety, bad feelings, negativity, and fear of death. These songs helped me when I was at my worst, and now they get to life, by releasing them.
I’m excited about what type of music the future will bring, but this album is going to leave a big mark on my life before surgery. Please send some positive thoughts my way and wish me Godspeed on my journey

Cassius Select brings the Bass on a new compilation for Bristol label Amity. Featuring alongside the likes of Pluralist and qgb – this one packs a punch, the kind which stings for a while after.

As part of the first release from the Czech Republic-label Markham Road, French producer Beatrice M. contributes to their VA compilation with 'BAZ' – a dub-style heavy track that brings you to the sweet spot of low end frequencies. The compilation is spined by frequent collaborators of its sister platform Infame Radio. The consequent nine tracks vary along a scale of percussive rhythms both relating to established and experimental ideas. As a trial in itself, this project took shape through exponential conversations between all those creatively involved.

Barcelona-based creative platform ABUNDANCE is set to release their highly anticipated first compilation ‘FLORILEGI I’. Meaning a ‘collection of flowers’ in Catalan, this series of works aims to shed light on some of the most exciting sounds coming out of the city’s multi-faceted musical ecosystem. 

From B4MBA’s industrial dancehall version ‘Charmed Riddim’ and the driving, hardware-heavy techno of ‘H13’ by ellian, the modular tension and release in glxgls’ ‘Brr Brr’, to the dubbed out two-step of ‘cute nenas love groovin’’ by AINES & ALVVA. These fourteen standout tracks, plucked and arranged, showcase the wide range of genre cross-pollination occurring within the Catalan capital. 

ABUNDANCE is dedicated to championing local talent, serving as a non-profit artistic collective, record label and event organisers. This inaugural compilation is the beginning of a new chapter, connecting the dots from the diverse corners of the creative scene, expanding possibilities for collaboration for the future.
