The thoughts floated in and out, images danced atop an empty screen as the voices echoed and cried with great whimsy and wonder. These were the moments of wild dreams, a place in which the most careless and most reckless fantasies roamed as the limits and shackles of society were removed.

Anything might exist up here for anything could.

Wandering from room to room of the empty house, there were strange visions and moments to be found within each. Some were haunting whilst others were wildly euphoric like the stuff of a delicate fantasy.

Who knew which door might lead where and what lay behind each?

La Serpiente remixed by Elena Colombi. Now this is a combination we can get behind, this one sounds like something out of a sophisticated art noire film, a horror of sorts with wandering melodies and echoes atop a stomping repetitive kick.

Bliss Point is proud to present Ta Kish Kan, an EP from DJ, producer and multidisciplinary artist Sol León. Ta Kish Kan is their debut release as aka-Sol, a name that consolidates many years of creativity, collaboration and exploration through various monikers and projects.

Ta Kish Kan is an explosion of color, a defiant rush of life. Over three tracks, aka-Sol has turned their psychedelic approach to sound toward the punk roots of electronic music, employing modular synthesizers and analog sonics to recapture the energy from before dance became homogenized and hard genre lines were drawn, challenging the conventions of modern club music and embracing a wider and more dynamic spectrum of human emotion.

The release is rounded out with a remix from @osare.editions head @elenacolombi who further explores the space between experimental, post-punk and club music, dispensing with comfort and bidding us to embrace what lies beyond.

Vinyl pre-order is live now, and the release will be available on streaming services this Friday, October 4.

Records will land Monday, December 2.

In a most original impetus this album traverses forty years of Italian new wave and singer-songwriter tradition. As in the desert where Infesta’s urge is to walk, we are ambushed by the most intense thermal and sonic difference.
It is from here that this important journey we mustn’t miss begins. It leads us eight thousand meters deep in the blue abyss. Not quite enough to come out the other side and, as a kite, bestow all the heights that I will reach. These depths are nevertheless necessary to adjust our eyes to the darkness that lives within us, as a machine to burst our hearts to which we can’t and won't be accomplices.
Machine against machine. The increasing pressure of the lashes of an incessant current, at times sweet and at times sour, on which all the courage is sung and yet is everywhere dispersed like thoughts on water and melodies to be lost at sea. Darkness persists: you said the world can be lived where all was taken. And it’s a crazy and estranging babbling that, stripped by a current, answers: never never never never, in no direction.
My companions, come back, the breaking point has been found, we sing together. Leaf after leaf the time has come: it is possible to destroy the Machine in a mad blinding light.

"I bumped into Elena Colombi on a night out while rearranging my feet to some electronic weirdness by the DJ booth. We were both admiring the cabling as I recall. Some chinwags ensued, and it transpired Miss Colombi had been to one of our first parties. “Questa è una coincidenza!” I cried, mostly to myself, before enquiring after her own boot-shuffling enterprise; the impressively sexy meat-market “Abattoir”. I popped down there a month or so later to witness Ivan Smagghe doing some dirty music-based things and shamelessly asking if she’d do us a mix. She made me happy as a clam when she agreed, and a week or so later this beaut landed in my inbox.
There’s x-wave, electro, what I can only describe as “infectiously twangy world music”, synth disco, and some Turkatech, capped off with a spot of Buddy Holly."
