Stoked to share my live recorded tribal bass set complete with vocal and didjeridoo looping from the Portal stage at Wicked Woods Music festival 2024.

It was super rewarding to collab with @portalcrewproductions on the stage build and design again, and then play at hour set at 6.30pm on Saturday night. Much love to all the Portal stage crew and collaborators, including the @renegadesoundcollective for levelling up our stage with their amazing sound system, and props to all the homies who came out to support. Wicked Woods 2024 - The Hallow Stage

It was a Unicorn Lounge Birthday at Wicked Woods this year for this artist and oh what a weekend that was!!! I am so grateful for all my friends and fans. I truly felt the love all weekend, thank you all ❤️  This year's set is a multi genre Bday set that goes from 128bpm - 180bpm. Sexy grimy Tech House - UKG - DNB - Gangsta BASS - Future Bass!!! Even got some breaks in there for good measure! I went to Metallica right before I played this set, so there may be some Metal influence..... I hope everyone enjoys listening to this one as much as I did laying it down. Make sure to like, share and follow. Elkemist is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, hybrid live DJ, facilitator and ceremonialist who plays multi-genre sets rooted in mystical sounds and ethnic flavours. With a deep love of tribal bass blended with rising psychedelic energy, his sets are curated to take audiences on a sacred journey of sonic alchemy, supported by live looping with yidaki/didjeridoo, vocals, flute and percussion. Having played at festivals around Canada and Australia including Shambhala (CAN), Wicked Woods (CAN) and Dragon Dreaming (AUS), he was also booked to close the Chill Island stage at this year’s canceled Esoteric Festival. While living in Canada, he co-founded a weekly ecstatic dance called Dance Wave, and he recently launched this offering in Australia to host intentional dance journeys and ceremonial gatherings for his hometown community.

Whether it’s a rising tribal bass journey, sacred gathering, ecstatic dance or sunrise festival set, expect a voyage across space and time, inspired by sounds from around the world to encourage the audience to move beyond the perceived limits of their bodies and minds.
