Hey there folks! My name is Mike. I'm the vocalist of Raunchy (Denmark)

I have two studio projects, Rest Among Ruins and Ordinance, and I've done session vocals for some really fun projects including Haunted Shores, Star Monarchy, Aenimus, and Memoirs.

I am also the former vocalist of Intervals (Canada) and The HAARP Machine (UK).

Fresh Air with Terry Gross, the Peabody Award-winning weekday magazine of contemporary arts and issues, is one of public radio's most popular programs. Each week, nearly 4.5 million people listen to the show's intimate conversations broadcast on more than 500 National Public Radio (NPR) stations across the country, as well as in Europe on the World Radio Network.

Though Fresh Air has been categorized as a "talk show," it hardly fits the mold. Its 1994 Peabody Award citation credits Fresh Air with "probing questions, revelatory interviews and unusual insights." And a variety of top publications count Gross among the country's leading interviewers. The show gives interviews as much time as needed, and complements them with comments from well-known critics and commentators.

Fresh Air is produced at WHYY-FM in Philadelphia and broadcast nationally by NPR.

This London based four piece hark back to the rootsy, no frills sound of the classic British/American bands to emerge over the last 50 years. They met each other through everyday circumstance, but their desire to make people move through music, both emotionally and physically, sparked the beginning of an exciting journey, and ensured they remained together to produce rhythms, melodies and lyrics that do just that.
 
Their sound is delicate at times, at others neanderthal, and if Noah had have played music to wake his animals, and settle them again at dusk, this would have been his band of choice.

Based in Minneapolis, MN, the Dusty Porch Sisters arrange and play their own and traditional songs founded in the folk and bluegrass tradition.  Their style is playful and interactive, creating an inviting experience for audience members.  The "Dusites" mix lush three and four part vocal harmonies with playful melodies that have been known to quiet a noisy bar before making it erupt again in laughter and stomping feet. 

Originally a collaboration of women who wanted their own space to make music, the Dusty Porch Sisters began playing for small crowds and festivals in early 2010 for the pure joy of sharing music with others.They were greeted by enthusiastic audiences who kept cheering for more!  The Dusties were flattered and a little baffled, but were very happy to oblige. They continue to make and play music throughout the Twin Cities, encouraging others to do the same. Their first album will be released in spring 2011.

The Dusty Porch Sisters is made up of the combined talents of five women; Anna Cioffi on mandolin, Stephanie Dalager on fiddle, Ashley Hanson on ukulele, Katie Peterson on guitar, and Leu Solomon on bass and percussion.
