Every week in Berlin, we invite artists to share the music they love. These recordings come straight from our space, just as they were played.

All sets at migas are captured from the output of our Isonoe ISO420 mixer into a Tascam FR-AV2 recorder via balanced cables, in WAV 48kHz / 32-bit float.

The mastering chain includes only a touch of analog-style saturation (BB Tubes), applied in parallel to add warmth and cohesion, followed by a transparent limiter (L2) to gently control peaks.

The final file is exported as FLAC 48kHz / 16-bit.

Marshall Watson is an electronic music producer, DJ and remixer.  NuNothern Soul, Italians Do It Better, Seven Villas, Loöq Records, Highpoint Lowlife. 1/2 of Causeway.

From Zagreb, Croatia days and Prussian Teutonic Knights, Kuze came to be. Product of humble peasant stock, the sailing Ship in Troubled Waters continues its quest. Kuze's father escaped communism with an accordion, drums and tamburica on his back, and his mother found her first glimpse of hope with a guitar in Thalmassing, Bavaria. Love was found in Augsburg before The Ship set sail to New York City in the Summer of 1962.

With a few pennies in their pockets and a universe filled with dreams, The Ship found its way up and down the East Coast before sailing across the great divide to San Francisco in 1972. 

Los Altos born, San Francisco drum n bass and house music bred. Music, epicureanism, cycling, golf and love. Kuze intends to lead with humility, sharing all the zivjeli and purity of expression found in the joys of life. May the music bring as much joy to your home as it has throughout my family's. 

Seven Villas West is a permanent San Francisco outpost on the very top of Twin Peaks. A direct connection to Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas Records imprint from Cantabria, in the far northeast of Spain:
