You find yourself comforted by the natural serenity of it all, the lack of human influence on the world around you. Submerged in the depths of cool, dense, mysterious jungles, interrupted only by the occasional river snaking through the trees. You trek across the most vivid of green mountains & through deep valleys that are peppered with crystal clear blue waters from the melted glaciers of a past ice age. It’s just the slightest bit familiar yet there is not a human in sight. A delicate shimmering coats the surface of everything you see. It’s as if you are in a dreamlike, artificial state of consciousness. This is the world of Tensen Park’s ‘Jurassimo’.

The Amsterdam-based producer takes you on an introspective ride through 4 dubby, ambient & IDM-adjacent tracks, each with a cool wash of crispy effervescence & crystalline ear candy. The music is full of so much beautiful detail which sounds as if it was performed in an improvisational manner. There is a meticulousness & attention to detail that is heard throughout yet everything somehow sounds unpretentious & flows naturally. The EP closes with a 5th track which is a wonderfully crunchy & upbeat rework from friend & occasional collaborator Imnop.

A few words about mx.pinky :
mx.pinky is a German DJ and producer whose repertoire consists of genre-bending sonic seduction. With standout performances at Transtronica Festival Hamburg, Outra Cena Lisboa, OHM Berlin, RADAR Reykjavík, Body Language and Lunchbox Candy, mx.pinky has emerged as a rising international talent from Berlin’s vibrant nightlife. She’s been interviewed on KEXP Seattle for her work as the co-founder of trans* art collective @exude___. 

Known for her sensual selection, hypnotic blends and serving dancefloor exhilaration, mx.pinky's DJ sets radiate an old school nostalgia through a fresh and contemporary lens. With over 10 years honing her craft and cultivating her vinyl collection, her expansive range extends from techno to bass, breaks, electro, house and beyond. 

mx.pinky’s distinctive productions are percussive and bass-driven, influenced by her youth playing in metal bands. Her latest tracks include "Riot" on the Moss On A Stone compilation featuring JakoJako, Sepehr and more, as well as "Want Me" released on La Casita Berlin’s Pink Star 01. After cult heroes Bicep delivered the inescapable sell-out ‘Stripper’ earlier this year, the second Love Fever release comes from burning London talent, Citizen and features a ‘Deeper Touch’ collaboration from Detroit’s wayward freakster, Jimmy Edgar.
 
Born out of East London's underground party, Love Fever Records seeks to expand on the erotic potency of the parties late nights and early mornings guided by residents come label owners A&A. The emerging sound, a heavy leaning on purist house dosed up on sleaze, grinding up against something to some romantic techno.
 
A Love Fever regular, Laurence Blake AKA Citizen is the dreaded up South London cool kid with a fresh sound full of modernity and attitude. His productions punch so hard, A&A stole him from their dancefloor after a personal demo delivery impelled the boys to get the music on record for the world to hear. Quietly rocking London dancefloors with his heavily defined, underground sound for the past few years, parallels have since been drawn with major British breakthroughs Julio Bashmore and Wbeeza. With the debut ‘Deep End EP’ on Kerri Chandler’s MadTech causing a stir Citizen looks set to become a prolific talent as he enters the Love Fever Records hall of infamy.
 
A side ‘Room Service’ gives you that call girl temptation, getting straight to the point with smoky bass and teasing intonations leading up to the flipped out vocal, stabbing synths and body rocking drop. ‘You Give me that something is the warmer, body melting B side, soulful vocals in pools of distorted chords and immersed in Citizen’s signature sound bed of rich bass filtered through a tight house groove. Add to that Jimmy Edgars twisted take on the Love Fever parties sound that slows down in tempo but with an added electronic sensuality for a “Deeper Touch” and you have something rather beautiful.
 
With a wandering hand in the pool of the globes most revered house and techno elite, expect future Love Fever releases with luminaries such as Larry Heard, Wolf + Lamb as well as the boys themselves…
