Project AER started in March 2019 by UK-based Producer Alex Reade as a testing ground for figuring out where to go next.

Alex's music roots started through his discovery and love of Emo, Rock & Punk genres in Secondary School. Picking up a guitar a year later, he has released music under countless aliases such as Almost Anyone & Little Music.

With a decade passed through experimentation of sounds in various genres, Project AER's signature sound has been built and refined to reflect a blend of dreamy ambience and guitar-driven beats.

Matt Poulton is an award winning composer who originally studied composition under renowned Scottish composer, John Macleod CBE. Matt currently writes and produces music for BBC TV & Radio, Channel 4 and Channel 5, ranging from full classical scores to electronica soundtracks. He has also written, orchestrated and conducted scores for film, including the feature film Monarch, directed by double BAFTA nominated director John Walsh.

Matt's numerous orchestral works have been performed by members of the London Symphony Orchestra and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. Guest conductors of his work include legendary British film composer Ron Goodwin (Battle of Britain, 633 Squadron, Where Eagles Dare, Hitchcock’s Frenzy etc). He has also written scores for several award winning short films, including Girl Afraid, directed by BAFTA nominated producer and director Basi Akpabio (BBC's And Then There Were None, Ordeal by Innocence and The Pale Horse). 

Alongside TV and film commissions Matt has written and produced music with leading industry recording artists, including Brit Award winner and Grammy nominee, KT Tunstall. His work for Channel 4 has been recognised with the Howard Goodall Award for Film and Television Composition.
