Als queere DJ und Producerin hat sie es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, den Vibe der New Yorker LGBTQI-Szene in das konventionellere München zu bringen. Sie legt als Solo-Künstlerin auf, organisiert queere Partys und ist seit neustem Resident im Münchener Blitz Club. Wir haben Bashkka zum Interview getroffen, um über ihren Werdegang als DJ, die Sichtbarkeit von queeren Themen und den Unterschied zwischen Vorbildern und Inspiration zu sprechen. She is a co-founder of Skin&Blister, a collective that nurtures and encourages female identifying, trans and non-binary creatives in music and the arts. She is also a co-founder and resident at Tender, a party for queers and allies, which launched in September. She brings a fun sound and an upbeat, electric energy to her sets, selecting from 90s trance, progressive house, acid and more.
