And so it’s VONDA7 who takes the hallowed 50 spot; the Berlin based DJ & producer has had a shimmering year so far, with releases and remixes for Kneaded Pains, Last Night On Earth, Strange Idols and art | werk.  And on her ‘Wide Awake’ EP, she gets straight down to business with her blend of driving drum machines, deep acid licks, captivating synth hooks and her distinct vocal performance, all running through three pumping cuts that flawlessly straddle the line between house and techno.

Sord's unique style of playing is a seamless blend of house and progressive house, infused with deeper melodic influences, and layered with deeper percussive beats that often cross over into his past influences. 

He has mastered the art of curating cross-genre sets that are always exciting, stylishly curated, and incredibly entertaining. 

Feeding off the audience and feeding back to the audience, he entices you with his innate ability to sculpt sound and mood into a groove that fills the room with electric energy.

As the founder of SORD MUSIC EVENTS, Sord has taken his music to new heights, transforming unique spaces around Cape Town's beautiful mountain into magical, musically sophisticated gatherings of like-minded people.
