The title track Speed Light is Dystopia-synthwave at its finest somewhere between the soundtracks of Drive & Blade Runner. And as if that was not enough it is followed by Italo inspired 80's arcade disco smasher Give Me (Your Soul) and topped with electronic drums, gated reverb, and analog synthesizer bass (grid)lines  that shimmer in magenta neon: Synthwave that!, Baby!

Our label name comes from street slang words for extremely amazing girls and people (definitions from UrbanDictionary.com):

Originally from East Berlin...now living in Honolulu Hawaii...with a insatiable appetite for deep house beats with fat vocals...

Born in Germany and raised in Brazil, trying to combine the dark and deep northern roots with the mystical and tribal rhythms the project Gelber Schamane was summoned.

Yellow stands for the element air, for the thoughts and the spirit.
The sunshine is yellow and so the color of the sun, the light and symbolizes "bringing light into the dark".

But what are the shamans of our times?

In ancient cultures every village had a representative with a strong connection to the spiritual world. In certain cultures they were also called medicine mans. Their exercise was to take care of all spiritual concerns and the emotional well being of the tribe. To do so there were many activities. Usually a ceremony lasting several hours was held in the centre of the village, where the tribe met to sing and dance extraordinarily. During this rituals the shaman set the pace using a self-made drum.
Nowadays only a few of those cultures and comunities exists, but the spirit of Shamanism still lives on. It changed its face to gather people together at night to dance together and enjoy. 
The village square turned into cellars and festivals, the modern medicine people became DJ's, The ambience and the occasion may have changed, but the rhythmic beating of the drums has remained. It is literally in the hands of the disc jockeys which mood they create through their vibration. Accordingly, a great responsibility goes hand in hand with this task and calling as a neo-shaman.
