Pardon Moi is the Berlin-based New Wave Duo featuring the British producer and song writer James Brook & German producer and DJ Thomas Freudenthal. „Addiction“ sounds like John Foxx and Gary Numan joined forces with the global chug, dark disco and synth wave haute volée. This track would have been in the UK Top 20 in 1981, for at least three weeks, we are sure! And the remixes are great too! The Kike am Radar remix adds some high noon post-punk edge to the game, James Rod turns „Addiction“ into a dusty, slow motion new wave monster from outer space. K-Effect turn it into a chuggy synth wave groove and MontCosmic's punchy remix is maybe the tightest of them all with its anthemic vocals, driving new beat acid synths, hypnotic grooves and heavy handclaps. A quality package of New Wave!

A random funky tech jam from the depths of my hard drive, it's pretty quirky and strange but was a lot of fun to write at the time. 
Looking back this track was a pretty pivotal change for me musically, shifting my focus from psytrance to deeper progressive techno vibes and eventually moving to Melbourne to pursue new avenues and projects.
